Your joke would be funnier if we didn’t all suspect deep down, that CA are thinking about it!!!

Should Jordan Silk be considered for the Ashes?

Would love to see him spend a season or seven in County cricket. Hopefully with his slow sensible strike rate he will get this chance, as he won’t be distracted by IPL etc.

Speaking of which, what on earth is a player like Silk supposed to do for the 2 month gap in Shield cricket while BBL is on??? A stint FC cricket in South Africa or NZ?

Should Jordan Silk be considered for the Ashes?

no.

Will Ponting’s comments derail Ashes campaign?

Call for the sticky tape!!!

My body may snap again, says Aussie quick

In breaking news, the WACA have requested that the English Cricket team import some better players in order for them to give more of a challenge to the WA 2nd XI. Only to find out where most of the English cricket team were born…

Pace flops give England Ashes headache

Sport FM, a local radio station in Perth broadcasts commentary of all WA games. you can listen in the office on the website below. I have given up on the CA video feeds. useless.

Does anybody else broadcast commentary on other states’ games? Would rather follow NSW the a team called the Alcohol Think Again Warriors.

Time to televise the Sheffield Shield

Who was Darrel Hari? An Indian legspinner?

The best Test cricket teams since the 80s

Truv,

A “Great” team doesn’t live and die by a dodgy LBW call. it smashes the opposition by 10 wickets or an innings and 200 runs like some of the teams mentioned by Biltongbek.

And Murali for his legspin, Johnno? (Who is the clown?)

The best Test cricket teams since the 80s

Murali bowled legspin? Good one Johnno, an offie turns the ball away from lefties, giving Murali an advantage. Think you missed the point of that one.

Loving these highlights packages. Great to remember that we too, once were warriors!!

agreed!! not a team player.

Australian captaincy not on Watson's mind

Does the defensively fragile Cooper replacing Toomua after the AB matches remind anybody else of the recent cricket Tests against SAF where Rob Quiney was a sacrificial offering to protect the defensively fragile Phil Hughes from the dangerous SAF pace attack?

Quiney (Toomua) was thrown in against Steyn & Philander (ABs) while they were on fire, in the pressure spot of #3 (#10?) discarded after 2 Tests (2 Tests) with an average of 3. Phil Hughes (Cooper) was shielded from the tough opposition and recalled against the inferior Lankans (Boks), where he averaged 47. Confusingly for my analogy, Hughes actually has his best record against SAF, averaging over 53. (Desn’t work for Cooper. damn.)

Folau a must at fullback in rejigged Wallabies

My fingers crossed too I pick it will happen in about the 8th over of England’s first innings – he won’t be batting long enough to worsen his injury, but the first time he runs after a ball he will go down…

Khawaja, Hughes, Starc: the revolving door

My thoughts Exactly. Agree with Nick even more in spite of the timing of the article.

Has failed as a batsman, bowler, injury risk, sook, waster of reviews and negative influence in the dressing room.

Watson should be dropped for the Fifth Test

“The Bogan fom Ipswich” – I didn’t realise Paulie Hanson had been selected for the Fifth Test. Oh, THAT bogan from Ipswich!! – I love it now that I get it!!

Watson should be dropped for the Fifth Test

Fair comments, but I think you’ll find Pup has scored a lot more han 17 first class tons if he has scored 24 in Tests, which count as First Class matches.
