No, I have not said anything inconsistent at all. Chill out mate, does it really matter? I think these very aggressive responses is part of what the author is talking about. You only have to express an opinion that isn’t pro All Black to get a pile of scorn heaped upon you.

In my world, it is very unimportant. For you and many others on here, especially New Zealenders, it seem to be almost the meaning of life. Jokerman, for example, often makes a direct link.Your country appears to hang much of its national identity on the game of rugby and the All Black team. So I understand why that is. When the Wallabies were winning more the game was still just a game for me, always will be. It started as a hobby, has lasted a lifetime and continues with that status. I will enjoy the next two Lions tests just as much as the last one whatever the result.

It’s entertainment, an interest, so yes, it’s worth it, to comment, that is the idea isn’t it? Unless you don’t want to read things you don’t agree with, then it is probably not worth it.

I think the number of comments on this thread is indicative of the level of interest in games where there is no Australian side playing. Almost ziltch.

Your plan is quite good. Definitely on the right track. Adelaide? Not sure about that one. A strong domestic competition with immediately give life to the game in this country. It is a proven and successful model.

Stats don’t tell you how a player fits into a team. Don’t think DCE is right for what they need: A more direct runner with a stronger body. Don’t think they will select him, except maybe as a bench player. Maybe next year if his form keeps improving.
