Whoops, ‘New Zealanders’ not ‘New Zealenders’ no offence meant. But if you have a few spare dollars…

Why I'll be cheering for the Lions this weekend

No, I have not said anything inconsistent at all. Chill out mate, does it really matter? I think these very aggressive responses is part of what the author is talking about. You only have to express an opinion that isn’t pro All Black to get a pile of scorn heaped upon you.

I think you live in a different dimension where words have a totally different meaning. I did not say any of those things. Calm down mate, this is an opinion site.

Who is running it down? It’s a game, mate, get some perspective.

Why I'll be cheering for the Lions this weekend

Exactly, each to his own. It is a break from the real world. My world is great, by the way ?. Rugby and the other sports I follow certainly adds to that.

Why I'll be cheering for the Lions this weekend

In my world, it is very unimportant. For you and many others on here, especially New Zealenders, it seem to be almost the meaning of life. Jokerman, for example, often makes a direct link.Your country appears to hang much of its national identity on the game of rugby and the All Black team. So I understand why that is. When the Wallabies were winning more the game was still just a game for me, always will be. It started as a hobby, has lasted a lifetime and continues with that status. I will enjoy the next two Lions tests just as much as the last one whatever the result.

Maybe it depends if you can actually hit the keys.
It’s entertainment, an interest, so yes, it’s worth it, to comment, that is the idea isn’t it? Unless you don’t want to read things you don’t agree with, then it is probably not worth it.

An old trick is to grab a handful of skin and fat. Most props have some of that. It hurts a lot after a few scrums and generally straightens up the TH pretty quick!

How to park a Ferrari in the garage, and the depowering of the scrum

The results in a game of rugby take on epic importance for some. That is reflected in some of the attitudes and comments on here. Not for most of us. Its just entertainment. Not really important at all, is it.

I think the number of comments on this thread is indicative of the level of interest in games where there is no Australian side playing. Almost ziltch.

Super Rugby Round 15 part II: Here it is!

Your plan is quite good. Definitely on the right track. Adelaide? Not sure about that one. A strong domestic competition with immediately give life to the game in this country. It is a proven and successful model.

Time to cut all the Australian Super sides and re-design the entire rugby season

Stats don’t tell you how a player fits into a team. Don’t think DCE is right for what they need: A more direct runner with a stronger body. Don’t think they will select him, except maybe as a bench player. Maybe next year if his form keeps improving.

Are the Maroons smart enough to realise Cherry-Evans is the future?

A single and reasonable comment on the tackle? It’s the responses to my fair comment you must be referring to?

Kaino rejects claims of malice against Lions

Yes, they definitely would.

TELL US: What are the positive signs for the Wallabies?

Glad you enjoyed the game. You are right, the ABs were outstandingly good. But, with rain, wind and a French referee, I think the Lions have a chance to cause an upset in Wellington.
Lions by 1 point.

All Blacks bring out the stray cat

RWC, Pocock was trying to free himself from a ruck or maul. The complaints over nothing came thick and fast. The head roll was a justified suspension. I was replying to Piru’s claim that AB supporters never complain about such things.

Kaino rejects claims of malice against Lions

Absolutely. And I think you are mistaken. This is the first piece of illegal play I have ever commented on.

Kaino rejects claims of malice against Lions

Hunt, Coleman, Hooper and Folau finding some good form. Just not Hooper’s captaincy or at least his goal kicking decisions. Not much else at the moment.

TELL US: What are the positive signs for the Wallabies?

Is that his excuse?

Waratahs keep on losing - this time two coaches

???

Waratahs keep on losing - this time two coaches

Bumped or not, he went through with the hit. I don’t think he or any other AB is a dirty player or that he set out to injure. But it is a very dangerous play and deserved a yellow.

Hansen: Lions are getting desperate

Played and coached for long time, my friend ?. I looked at it, it is my opinion.

Hansen: Lions are getting desperate

I never resort to personal insults. That says more about those that do, in my opinion.

Hansen: Lions are getting desperate

Not sure about that. ABC reported that he rang early when he heard Gatland’s comment. And ASP reported he rang in also.

Hansen: Lions are getting desperate

SWB would not have made that tackle, so no, I don’t agree. Great try wasn’t it. The best of the match.
