The ABs playing with 14 men was their own doing – you can push the law only so far and you will be found out. Scott Barrett was brain dead and Sam Cane displayed very poor to no leadership skills IMO.

Plenty Handling errors by both sides as well as some rookie errors. I thought Moodie’s try was good as he was still bound to the mail when the ball came out.

It gave all RWC teams a good idea of how the officiating is going to be in the RWC. No place to hide.

Not so sure about that. Captaining a club/provincial side is one thing – captaining the national side at test level playing RWC is something entirely different. One can only hope it doesn’t detract from his game.

I think the likes of Wales etc would be rubbing their hands in glee if MH is selected. I’m no detractor of Hooper, but he is just too lightweight to play in knock-out games. Nagging injuries don’t help and the other teams will target him. RWC is cutthroat business.

Never mind being beaten to the punch, the boys were blowing after 20 minutes – i think the altitude also played a part. Why cant the WB’s travel a week earlier to acclimatise, especially when its the first game?

White’s incessant chatter and continual questioning of the referee is adding to the poor image. Its only a matter of time before he crosses the line and gets a yellow for it.
