Nope, known him for about a year a half now, long after his insane Rockhampton days. Recommended me to this site about six months ago and its rather interesting what the site has to offer. He wanted to continue his work but i couldn’t, his work is his own and anybody that tries to emulate it is a fool. Besides this i didnt want to be thought as a BigJ 2.0 or something. He should be back around grand final week, depending how his work goes

Exactly! Nsw had thier best chance since 2014 to win a series and they blew it again. What is worse for them it that no one of any real usefulness what to take over the role . Gould wont do it and never will Johns ( he has no coaching experience), so the teams best hope for a win wants nothing to do with the team and Nsw will jave nothing but second rate b grade coaches to go up against qld. Its really a shame, Origin used to be a tit for tat competition where the winner was about as predictable as the lotto numbers. Now its just Nsw wins a game looks to win a series finally but buggers it up in game 2 and gets thumped in the decider. This Origin script will wear out thin pretty soon im sure

Sonny Bill Williams, probably the best league player to come out of New Zealand. Sorry mate but your whole article is discrediited in one sentence. SBW was nothing more than a glory hog that did nothing unless he was ten metres out from the try line, there is about fifty guys better than SBW from New Zealand, Mannering, Keanry, Kevin Protcor, just to name a couple, bar that not a bad article.

I have read this article three times to try to make sense of it and why i see the intent of the writer it still doesn’t make sense to me. Qld are the best Origin team because they train the hardest and are the more passionate team, its the never say die attitude of the Queensland team. The fact that they have Aboriginal and Islander boys in the team is irrelevant. Beetson was one of the best players to play the game, hence his immortal status, the fact he was an Aboriginal has zero to do with it. IMO. when I look at players like Beetson, Meninga and Thurston, I dont see Aboriginal or Islander players i just see players in the Qld jersey. Maybe i have completely missed the point of this article but it was an enjoyable read.

That hit on Slater by Soliola was the most blantant head high i seen in awhile and it deserves 6 to 8 weeks on the bench. These gutless refs need to grow a set a balls and send these players off the field. Slater could be out for a couple of weeks with that. So however long Slater is out for Soliola should get triple.

Um when did BigJ get his hand stuck in a vending machine??? The big fella is fine Barry, he has had to go dark for a while due to work commitments. He is currently off the radar, but he should be back around late October, early November. He is rather annoyed about it as he will not get to watch the Grand final or write any articles about the Nrl or anything for a while, so no top tens for a while. Im surprised that you did not know that he has gone dark for a while considering you comment on just about everything he writes on the site. Didn’t you read his last article???
