The Nrl love the Indigenous and womens rounds too Jimmy, just another jersey cash cow to go with thier marvel, hertiage, anzac, movie promotional or what ever other excuse they can come up with to get us to spend another $160.00 on another jersey that we dont need. They have certainly done well against the lower level teams, but the real challenge will come against the Roosters, Sharks and the Storm. They have the Warriors at home this week, so that should be a easy enough win but having said the Warriors can give the Cowboys trouble at home.

Without Thurston and Scott they have zero chance of making the top four, but im not that surprised they beat the bunnies, they have been lackluster at best. Its seems the Storm will steamroll the comp into another premiership, as they have no injury concerns and are in top form

Great win for the Cowboys in Cairns, rather good watch. I did find it interesting though that the Cairns crowd was only approximately 11200 while the Darwin crowd was 11968 at Tio Stadium. Considering that Barlow has a capacity of 18000 compared to Tio Stadium which can only hold 14000, this is funny how more Darwin locals turned out for thier annual fix rather than a heart land league location such as Cairns. I understand that Cairns is only 4 hours up the road from Townsville, but you think they get a sellout. I definitely think the Cowboys should come here again ( darwin) next year as people would rather see Thurston then most others ( which the exception of the Melbourne Storm big 3) play and draw the bigger crowds. But again great win to the Cowboys.
