So last night a shot that wasn’t as late and on a bigger bloke was a penalty, report and sin bin?

Tonight, no worries play on.

DCE fires up after copping late hit from Rabbitohs prop

Dragons: no halves, no forwards, no chance.

Storm by plenty. Suprised Bellamy put Papenhoozy back on the bench, he’s a gun.

St George Illawarra Dragons vs Melbourne Storm: Thursday night forecast

Johnny seems to think they’ve only lost two games…

Bairstow blames pitches and media as England struggle

Bit harsh…he copped a head knock in the Morris tackle. He went to get up the first time and fell over.

They scored that try primarily because someone raced out of the line and missed Walker.

What changes should both Origin sides make for Game 2?

NZ…that’s in NSW

Cronk injured as Sydney sink Souths to join Storm in grand final

The storm can and will pull up a dozen of these examples that have never been punished. The charge won’t hold up.

Does this unpunished incident show Slater has been hard done by?

Re 4. I feel we hear that line from you boys every year. I’d argue the Maroons took far more initiative blooding youngsters last year though. Munster starting at 6 in game 3, he played beautifully, Morgs finally getting a starting role, there’s the next decade of dominance right there.

Add in the other debutants Napa, Holmes, Hess and Glasby and we aren’t looking like Dad’s Army anymore.

Oh and on the old blokes, GI and Matt Scott will be hoping for a run this year also.

Can’t see NSW getting close. 2-0 going into Sydney with Blues making wholesale changes.

Five fearless predictions for the 2018 NRL season

The Lyon thing was such a non event. I have dropped the ball in the same spot on the pitch probably 100 times before I ran off to celebrate with the team. He didn’t hit AB with the ball, he didn’t step/stand over him or mouth off he just dropped the ball beside him (as he lay next to the stumps) and ran off to join the team.

Seriously stupid he copped some trumped up contrary conduct charge. I bet Warner, de Cock and Rabada are nervous if that can earn you a penalty from the match review.

How do you want to be remembered, Davy?

Wonder if A Mccullogh is top 10 or if he missed the boat completely? Arguably the most important player for their respective club in the comp. When he went down the wheels fell off last year for the Broncs.

The Roar’s top 50 NRL players for 2018: 20-11

With the scoring system they’re using I don’t think any of this should be taken as gospel. Bromwich seems to be down at 32 because Matt “forgot about him”.

Just a bit of fun so we don’t go mad(der) waiting for footy season to start.

Also, and completely off topic how good was it to see Frizell getting pinged for that play the ball? I hope they’re consistent because it was a farce last season with all the touch footy play in the ruck. Should earn the right to a quick play the ball.

The Roar's top 50 NRL players for 2018: 40-31

Jimmy Maloney is a great player; destructive on the front foot running or passing, great goal kicker and a strong competitive personality but he isn’t a game manager. If you think picking Bird, Moylan etc to partner him in the halves will work you’ll get a rude shock, the entire team would be a shambles with no direction as soon as you get on the back foot. Where was Jimmy last night? I certainly didn’t see him except for when he was getting trampled by a Maroons back rower. Pearce for all his critics at least turned up last night, he may not have done it very well but he didn’t just mimic casper the ghost and disappear when things got tough.

Joey, it’s time: You’re the 2018 NSW Blues Origin coach

If the NRL could guarantee the Sydney public could fill ANZ twice a year I’m sure you would get two games down there but you lot don’t turn up just like your team doesn’t turn up.

Stop moaning.

Hang your heads in shame, New South Wales
