Don't mention the war chest: NRL gearing up for rugby raid makes strategic sense but won’t change much
Don’t bother Miz. Lots of commenters here still think of Skelton playing for the tahs when he was 20. Never mind the fact he’s been a key feature in two of the best performing teams in Europe club competition. The Ireland test as you mentioned and his lone appearance at RWC 23
'An experienced 10 would have helped': Wallabies open up on on failed World Cup they'll have to 'live with'
Real shame. Was easily the best ref in the world in my view. One of my favourite things was that he learned and spoke French so when reffing the European cup games he spoke to the French players in their mother tongue. Subsequently inspired other refs to pick up a few phrases and I think he even ran a few courses to help the other refs with this. Real shame as he often remembered for the 07 match 😔

That bloke retired and never recovered. So incredibly sad
Wallabies lose another two young guns to World Cup injuries - but Eddie won't call up anyone yet
Yeah fair enough Baz I get your point it is a hell of an achievement but I don’t think Cleary loses any sleep over it. I just think it’s quite funny that a few years ago he was in the hunt for the Brian Smith award of never winning a premiership but coaching a heap of games. Now, if all goes to plan for him on Sunday he could be up there as best coach of this century. RL is funny isn’t it!
Dally M Knight: Ponga wins in all-time shock as voting comes under fire but Johnson says he doesn't feel 'robbed'
Whilst I agree there’s some merit in your point Baz I think if you asked the coaches of those teams “would you rather your coach of the year awards or the premiership?” We know the answer. Who can even remember the coaches of the year from 10 years ago? But I bet you can tell me who won the premiership and who the coach was?

All Blacks CONFIRMED: Fozzie's HUGE Rugby World Cup gamble, Retallick to miss France opener
Absolutely love him. Always have as an Aussie his edging to slip and not moving a muscle was great! He’s always performed against us and is a real character. I just hope he doesn’t “do a broad” on us today/tonight. I think he will be great in the commentary box and wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in Oz for our summer.
You can admit it now - if Stuart Broad was an Aussie, he'd be your favourite player
Of course not! French cheese and wine is pretty good too! 😛

Whilst I agree wholeheartedly with yours and Ramprakash’s points, I remember Anil Kumble bleating about a spirit of cricket incident years ago, maybe 08? The match when Clarke took 3 or 4 wickets in an over to win at the SCG? I think it was the Symonds V Harbjahn match? It’s always something the losing team clutch too which is what bugs me
Flem’s Verdict: Is spirit of cricket needed? It gives teams grey areas to exploit instead of accepting umpire's decision
As someone who’s coached in the UK as well it certainly happens there too.

Get on the tour though. It’s great!
The Wallaby 15 should be more Burke than Folau: Eddie can win or lose the World Cup on his 'lone wolf' call
Good on you for still coming on here though mate. I know some Roarers go a bit over the top but you’re here win or loss and I appreciate it. Things are never as bad or as good as they seem. Few quick wickets this morning and who knows what could happen.
UK View: 'Are you joking?' Stunned ex-stars turn on England's 'absolute shambles' in 'worst day of Bazball era'
Wonderful as always Mr Jones. If you are still in the Basque, you need to do a cider house tour. Basque cider is much better than others as it’s flat and not sweet. Do the tour, delicious meal and then pour your own cider afterwards until close. My wife and I had an absolute ball there many years ago and highly recommend.

Robinson played what, 2-3 tests (?) over one series and you’re cherry picking stats. I suppose you say Warnie isn’t very good coz his bowling average in India is worse than Michael Clarke’s? Australia is a tough place to bowl for overseas bowlers. Broad has done it over a long period of time all over the world. Yes, he’s struggled in Oz but lots of bowlers have and nearly every bowler has somewhere where they’re not as effective. Broad has accepted his role as the Ashes villain but don’t let that get in the way of his talent.
Ashes Scout: Loud-mouth Robinson taunts Aussies again - 'surprised they didn't go toe to toe', Ponting's shock England coach reveal
You can’t honestly be suggesting that Robinson is better than Broad? It’s a gee up right? Broad is a proven performer. One half of one of the greatest opening bowling pair England have ever produced? Robinson is known for being racist, backing away when the ball is too fast, pea hearted efforts during the match and sledging a bloke for too scoring in a match. Broad has a test century, few fifties, over 550 test wickets and has continually performed against Australia in the biggest test series for either country. In what shape or form is Robinson better?

Understandable mate. Good luck and let me know if you’re ever keen for a beer!

Very sad news. Had a hell of a way with words and conducted himself with the utmost integrity.

Forget this has to be an Aussie rubbish. The wallabies should go after Ronan O’Gara. He’s said he wants to coach internationally and Farrell has the Irish gig locked up and Borthwick Eng. job. O’Gara has coached in the Southern Hemisphere before and also isn’t afraid of putting a few noses out of joint. Plus, he’s won something with La Rochelle which is also where Skelton plays.
