Basically Lyon was a massive dick when he said what he said, it wasn’t said in the heat of the moment and it wasn’t said with any right of reply, it also wasn’t playful.
Prior basically said to Lyon that Karma is a bitch. To be mocking by definition it would have to be cruel which I don’t believe Prior’s tweet was, unlike Lyon’s statement. I don’t think there was anything playful in either instance, there was feeling there.

Literally everything you said is wrong, not least that in the old days a competent umpire would’ve given it out, they certainly wouldn’t have done. The ball also deflected plenty of the front pad. Still it doesn’t really matter anyway.

Kallis has great numbers and was a great player BUT he always seemed to play for himself, he never wanted to bowl and he always batted for his average. Stokes is 100% all about the team.

It was certainly a sliding doors moment. Great credit to Labuschagne for seizing his opportunity, he’s looked very good and appears to be a spikey character who’s up for the fight, the new David Warner perhaps?
