And Noah L would have been third choice since he was from the beginning in DR squad.

The Wrap: Is Eddie Jones playing the role of Keyser Soze or Frank Drebin?

I think Geoff, Eddie probably didn’t like what he saw from Quadie as our most experienced against the Bokke and Pumas since he started both games. It could have been reactionary from Eddie J who knows and it is hurtful to see Quadie go out like this. Perhaps he is creating a culture of “fear” that even though you are very experienced not even you are safe from been excluded on day match team, which has been missing from our team.

The Wrap: Is Eddie Jones playing the role of Keyser Soze or Frank Drebin?

I think a stint overseas should do him well. NL can’t say he never had chances to prove what he can do. I do think he shud either beef up and consider moving to 12 where he played for junior Wallabies or he shud be an understudy of the B Foley type of 10.

BF, perhaps RA needed the funding and so had to to arrange for such a long tour. Actually it was a good way to actually see if we are in fact progressing under DR. If the AB had Irish Joe and Jason Ryan from the start of this WC cycle, DR record would have plummeted even further.

And players who was causing alot of penalties or underperform was selected over and over. At least with EJ he is absolutely ruthless when it comes to selection. He shows his frustration in coaching box.

“Never played boks in SA, thats a big difference” yes Pete, this is a fact that is conveniently overlooked. Glad you are calling this out. Also look at the matches between Irish clan, French flair and our team since 2014 regardless where they are on the WR rankings, the scoreline difference is within 3-5 points where we lost mostly whoever the coach was at the time.

The Wrap: Is Eddie Jones playing the role of Keyser Soze or Frank Drebin?

“while the ABs and Boks are bundled out in the quarters.” This seems more realistic. Irish clan and French will be in the semi-final. It just feels this world cup is setup for a NH team to win it.

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

I think any team would be nervous against Eddie J in a knock out match.

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

Actually Quadie has played behind a dominant pack that is why we had 5 straight wins in 2021. Carter G was great but that’s because we held the ball for close to 65%. And it reflected on the scoreboard in the early stages. Eddie knows we are devasting when keeping the ball for long periods but he needs other game plans as a back up if your Plan A does not work. That is why his experimenting.

From those losses, you can see Eddie J is trying out new gameplans because he knows we are a possession Based type team. He has to do this otherwise we will become too predictable at the WC.

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

Actually Peter, Carter G would have never made the WC squad despite playing alot better than Noah L. If DR was in charge his 3 flyhalves would be Quadie, B Foley and Noah L(because he has more test caps than Carter G would be used the reason).

No we know where we were heading with big Dave. If We met Red roses with Eddie J in charge at WC, clearly we would have been knocked out. Remember we lost a series with most of our the first choice player available at home to Eddie J.

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

I think Quadie needs time in the saddle. Eddie J will need to decide either start Quadie with Nick White and let Carter G and Tate McD come off the bench for impact which they definitely can provide. Quadie is not the impact type I think so it is best to start him.

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

It might be a All black B team but when last have you seen their team went almost 24-3 after 28 minutes if Tate scored on their home soil happen. Of Course it went downhill from there but we are working on that. We have been chopping and changing since the start of RC. Now with another three more games French flair Georgia and Fidji. I think we will be ready when we meet Wales.

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

Some context, we have had now many close losses against Irish clan and French flair since 2014 regardless of who the coach was. So it definitely can’t be used as a trend that we are going up. Another thing if we played our matches in Bokland in 2021 surely we would have lost both matches as well. Our record is as bad as bokke when played in each others backyard.

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

Another thing Doc. DR record would have been worse if RC was hosted in Bok land in 2021. It would be 3 losses and one win from 2021-2022. This stats is conveniently overlooked. The games between Wallabies, Irish clan and French flair have been very close since 2014 and we have lost these games similar to that in 2022. Yet another stat been overlooked and it can’t be used as if we were on the upward trend.

It would be great see Scotty Sio as back up to Belly. Both great ball carriers.

Hi Westie, I am glad Fozzy did not split his team up like the Bokke. This match should be a run away for your boys as the Wallabies are still figuring out their identity. Our players are still getting to grips of what their roles are.

All Blacks team: Foster eases Cane concern, reveals lock pecking order ahead of Bledisloe I

C Clarke has a strange running style like a zigzag pattern. That is why he sometimes slide and fall on the field. I am surprised he has not injured his ACL playing like this. With his size he could easily truck it up.

M Tela looks so skinny on TV and yet he breaks tackles like it’s nothing.

Then Eddie J should have seen how M cheika put a game plan in place to beat AB last year.

'Butch defence, Larkham glide': What Eddie sees in Test rookie as Wallabies make SEVEN changes

John, who will be the defensive organizer in that backline. Last year JP got skinned by Will Jordan on the outside channel. JP has a tendency of coughing up the ball as he has a wild running style into a defensive. I think J flook or Joey Walton should have been pulled into the squad for their intelligence at least. The other option is Marky Mark and I Perese has some Tahs connection so maybe it would be a better fit even though Perese is defensively suspect.

'Butch defence, Larkham glide': What Eddie sees in Test rookie as Wallabies make SEVEN changes

Tom Hooper got blasted off the ball by the Bokke and then Bok players got blasted off the ball from AB. He will get a lot of shoulder injuries if his expected to pouch for the ball at such a young age. Think this is a mistake.

Christy, what I love about Eddie J is that he is not afraid to replace a player no matter how many caps you have in the case of Slips and Quadie if it turns out to be true. Maybe this co captaincy is not such a bad idea

Exclusive: Carter's meteoric rise continues with young gun replacing Quade at No.10, Tate set to start

Maybe Eddie J chose Carter G because he knows it is home ground of the Rebels boys and would be fired up for the match.
