Not generally one for hyperbole, but the best Rugby World Cup final ever? The best tournament as a whole?
There has some really entertaining games, lots of tries and exciting play. Few blowouts and kickathons.

MATCH RESULT
The All Blacks have defended their World Cup win of four years ago, becoming the first team to retain the trophy. It was on the back of a dominant first half performance, with discplined play and dominance in the lineout. Dan Carter was outstanding, marshalling his team around the field. The Wallabies made a late rally in the second half, after Ben Smith was yellow-carded, and got to within four points. But NZ showed their class, pulling away with a Carter drop goal and then a try in the final few minutes.
New Zealand are world champions once again.

Wallabies still with ball in hand. NZ some comfortable defending their line. Beale tries an inside pass to Mitchell and he knocks on! Smith picks it up, boots it down field and regathers to score!
