NRLW Round 7 Preview: Time to get proactive with tickets so more fans can see what all the fuss is about
Both, please don’t start me on my big bug bear of paying a $7.50 ticketing fee when I am either printing the ticket at home or keeping it on my phone!!

BIgGordon, I also wonder about the timing of the games.
The game I want to started at 11.05 on Saturday – prime time for kids sport. It also cuts your day basically in half and means you can’t do anything in the morning or the afternoon.
It’s also competing with the men’s competition at the moment, so for example, if your men’s team was playing in the afternoon you couldn’t get to both.
A triple header was also held at Belmore – interesting given that the Bulldogs don’t have a team… I understand getting to new areas, but the Eels NRLW team only have 2 home games this entire season, it seems in favour of more games in the regions.

And shows what can be achieved too!
RA's 'devastating, no substance' response to Wallaroos shows exactly why rugby is being left behind
I would estimate probably about 5 or 6 years. I’ve been interested in women’s sport for the last decade and the Wallaroos and the development of the Super W have definitely been part of thay. 😊

This wasn’t always the case – so what happened?

Additionally, would you like me to send you all the positive articles I have written about women’s rugby over the years ? Or are only rugby people allowed to talk about rugby?

Phil, my understanding is that the Aussie Pearls are full time professional athletes. Is that correct?

I don’t understand the point you are making?
You are saying that a full time coach for the Wallaroos is too much to ask?

There is a difference between full time professional athletes, semi-professional and financial insecurity, which is where the Super W players sit now.
I’m not asking and neither are the Wallaroos just quietly, for million dollar contracts.

Hi Caractacus – so glad you are enjoying the NRLW and great to see so much English talent included. My view is that the competition probably won’t expand again until 2025, just to give the 4 new teams intro-ed this year some time to settle. So perhaps then!
