Yes he was interviewed.
Extract from the vance report: “One limitation of the interview process was the publicised zero-tolerance of the OGE management in October 2012. The doping admissions of Matt White leading to him being suspended by OGE is highly likely to have meant that any team member with any doping practices in their past may not have been fully honest in their interview responses especially as the interviews were not conducted under oath. Nevertheless, there was no admission from any rider or support personnel about any past practices other than the already known cases of Matt White and Neil Stephens.”

So yes he lied and he is almost certainly lying about using it once. Not a surprise given cycling at the time, but is too much to ask for a bit of honesty? It is a shame when you have to respect someone like Tyson Gay just because he doesn’t underestimate the intelligence of the public and doesn’t offer some garbage sabotage story.

Why did O'Grady suddenly retire?

It was wrong for him to have the Cycling Australia job anyway, clear conflict of interest involved there. I was annoyed to see the ‘tah dah’ out of the bus so soon as well, was it really necessary to have him step in half way through a stage race?

Cycling team confirms White's return

How good was Santambrogio at Trentino and Tirreno Adriatico. Too many TT kms in the race for him to be any threat overall I would have thought. Hopefully he will light it up in the mountains though.

The Classics are ancient history - now for the Giro d'Italia

Well said. Given the predicament of our top order, maybe Paine is the best option. Level headed and not afraid to grind out an innings.

Haddin as Test vice-captain the best news yet

The lions weren’t injecting blood but don’t let those ‘minor’ facts get in the way of you making your point.

Hird should not stand down at Essendon

Surely the fact that Hird and the football department as a whole felt the need to exclude the long serving club doctor Bruce Reid from the supplement program show that they knew this whole practice was hardly ethical. Hird might not have to stand down just yet, but one feels the end is nigh.
