'We'll sack him and be in the same position': Ex-Wallaby condemns Larkham snub as Schmidt deal CONFIRMED

And take upbrage with self-inflicted uppercuts

Exclusive: Wallabies to turn to Kiwi Schmidt as Eddie Jones' replacement

Love a good Simpsons reference

Exclusive: Wallabies to turn to Kiwi Schmidt as Eddie Jones' replacement

I want to see the Wallabies absolutely poleaxe Japan when the time comes. Be in their face and ruthless. Let that vile snake understand the true meaning of upbrage. Nothing against the amazingly humble Japanese folk, its purely personal.

Exclusive: Wallabies to turn to Kiwi Schmidt as Eddie Jones' replacement

I am very excited if the appointment is to suceed. Joe is meticulous and detail orientated, in stark contrast to the aloof, detail excempt and Rugby League indoctrinated predeccesor. Assistant coaches are key however, and i’m not sure Australia even has good enough coaches for those roles.

Nucifora has has been confirmed for a consultancy role btw. Was in a previous Christy article.

Rugby News: RA starts Wallabies coach 'sprint', 'SBW-like move' mooted for NRL star, Gatland wants 'mark' erased

What I want to see is an aligned coaching team. If we get a renowned head coach and 4 ex leaguies count me out. The attack and defensive coaches are just as important as a head coach.

What happened to Trae? Is he still in the conversation?

Agreed – but also in our favour is completely new crop of Kiwi coaches and many Kiwi stars leaving the comp. I hope this is the year that Ozzie sides actually look competitive.

'Took me three years to find one': Prized recruit hits ground running as Tahs boss cools Wallaby hype

Disagree with Lee Warner. I think he was hard done by to not get a look at Wallabies colours a few seasons ago. He is an impact player. Sad that he left the Force.

'Took me three years to find one': Prized recruit hits ground running as Tahs boss cools Wallaby hype

Head coach is important. Assistant coaches I’d argue are more important. We have had zero attacking structures since Eddie started. We need to bring back the cerebral back plays that set the Wallabies apart.
Our defensive system has patterns of the Grey musical chairs approach. We need a steadfast defensive coach who employs a blitz defense.
Forwards need some backbone and returning to the Brumbies formations around the rolling maul would be a good starting point.
Lots to sort. Hopefully some skilled coaches will become available post WC.

CONFIRMED: Eddie blames RA for early exit as Woodward calls for Rennie apology, ex-ABs coach linked to role

Thank you Brett for your insightful commentary and analysis over the year. I, like many had hope in the Eddie movement, I thought he would bring the cut throat nature that this team needed. Instead he brought a travelling circus, equipped with a loquacious and deceptive tongue.
This is the time to put serious thought into the next 4 years and who will build this team into something Australia can be proud of. It is possible, but the odds are stacked against us.

The joy of Rugby World Cup celebrations only ruined by Eddie Jones’ final act

As far as I’m concerned, Eddie has shown his true colours as a special kind of traitor. Smoke, mirrors, and a whole lot of BS ever since he started. Out of the last 20 years of Australian rugby this is the lowest ever ebb. What a self obsessed, egotistical and parasitic liar. I wouldn’t wish him on my worst enemy.

Eddie Jones quits as Wallabies coach - 'Sometimes you have to eat s--t for others to eat caviar'

Nathan Grey I wouldn’t touch with a barge pole. Bloke enjoyed picking defensive positions out of a hat. Mckellar for me is number 1 for head coach. However we need some decent assistants not Eddies rag tag leagie mates and a French never been.

'He's got to be honest'- Wallabies legend's message to mate Eddie as ex-skipper says Jones 'never committed'

Yes true I just checked it out. Was told something completely different by a few Irish lads.

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

If true, I think it is representative of Eddie’s erratic and nonsensical decline into senility. On questioning, his answers were on many occasions incorrect (training dates/injuries), selections truely mind boggling (utility players?), media planning skewed (reports of disorganised media times/team activities), even to the point of completely dismissing a long term contract in the first couple of months of being employed. By all observations, Eddie truely looks to have lost his mind.

Maybe you guys could use a bit of Christys IP

Answer: No

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

I take umbrage at the fact that Eddie is a patriot.

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

Who will take his place? It was a terrible decision but we can’t just keep firing everyone. What we need is some stability. I’m sick of finding out we have new assistant coaches, new coach, new CEO every 3 months. As we keep being told consistency and cohesion gets results.

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

Didn’t he fire up about being called a traitor?? Not sure he has a leg to stand on after this calamity.

REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach

No to this plan. As ozzy sides won’t get out of tier 2. No one wants to see losers consistently
