I have agknowledeged this and said thank you to the author for writing the article.

What is with the pile ons lately?

The A-League needs to begin with a bang, not a whimper

Thank You for writing this, I will never understand this sort of behaviour but I have been crying out for an article like this.

'Sick to the stomach': Night of utter shame as Welcome to Country booed and fans display Nazi salutes

Just saw it, thank You.
It has been a very hard week to be an Aboriginal sports fan in this country,

The A-League needs to begin with a bang, not a whimper

Are any of the Roar writers going to come out and actually comment on Saturday nights disrespect of the Welcome top Country?

The A-League needs to begin with a bang, not a whimper

They satted that they want high profile League players, thats out there. Do you think said league players will go for free, of course they will command a million plus each year.

NRL grand final week proves rugby’s failings in the west

Great Article, you only need to look at the recent Schools selections and see how little a chance peoplle from non affluent area have.

NRL grand final week proves rugby’s failings in the west

They have an obligation to treat Indigenous players and supporters with respect and dignity, of high from what I have seen on select occasions they have not done this. The Adam Goodes situation was horrendous.

UPDATED: 'Told me to kill my unborn kid': Clarkson responds to allegations in Hawks racism report, Fagan stands down

This has become a disgusting point scoring code war exchange and it’s really not the forum for it. These allegations are horrendous and everyone involved in this code should be embarrassed by them and also by their treatment of indigenous players throughout history.
Seriously people be better.

Seriously, what is wrong with this sport?

I disagree Jack, I think if they can underatnd how beneficial this will be for both the player and the sport they will make him an offer.

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

You speak for the people, you wrote articles for Sua’ali’i to stay in Rugby, I think you are underestimating the power of the press.

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

You have not been to an Indigenous community recently, no one is crying out for an NRC (did anyone even watch that?) yet there are dozens (at least here in Bathurst) of Rabbitohs shirts, shorts and jerseys. Considering that we are serviced by the Panthers it shows the appeal of the Rabbits players.
A player of this standing will get many kids watching and playing RU

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

No they can’t be seen as playing favourites to any code, but it has been brought up as a someone who will be beneficial in winniing over young Indigenous atheletes to the code and hopefully getting some more on scholarships. The challenge is to get the Rugby press to see the value in a player like this over say a player had a more traditional Rugby upbringing.

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

I said I didn’t agree with the fact that you speak for all of thepress, that being said you do have a loine to the management at RA and as a member of the press have a responsibilty to ask the question on where RA are at in signing this player?
Just like many people are doing with Sua’ali’i.

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

I think the point is Geoff (which I don’t agree with) is that the Rugby press won’t get behind Latrell as a player, and seeing as how we are commenting on your article maybe he thinks you speak for the entire rugby press at this moment?
While he is about as far from the traditional “Rugby Player” as you can get in Australia I still think the Rugby public here would get behind it, he is just too talented a d popular. I went to an online indigenous sports participation discussion and his name came up when talking about Rugby Union. I think he is keen, it’s up to you and your Rugby press fraternity to help it happen now. I know he’s polarising Geoff but he is a special talent, tell RA to get it done.

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

Yeah and I don’t think that the Rugby press and public will have that much of a problem with him, especially when he starts winning. I know that he is From Taree and not Mosman but do people really care??

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

Maybe stop picking the same players that have not done it in the past. And sign Latrell why the NRL fans are hating him.

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

The issue is that there the only media left to comment on the game are those that are sympatheytic to Rennie and RA, there is no scrutiny on a coach with an unacceptable win record. That game was there to be won on Thursday and they let the ABs walk over. Sorry Rennie but you are not up to the job.

The Wrap: How is it that when the Wallabies lose, support for Dave Rennie goes up?

Yeah but by definition, RL is actually poor mans Rugby, thats its reason for existence.

Tweak the bench: Learn to love fatigue again and the game will be better off

Thanks for that, really explains the differences well.

The Wrap: How the Rebels are trying to bridge the chasm between club and Super rugby

A club based inn melbourne getting their players to play out of a second tier competition in Queensland, where have I heard that before?

The Wrap: How the Rebels are trying to bridge the chasm between club and Super rugby

Yeah we went for both Friday and Saturday, on Friday we got to meet some of the Rabbitohs Indigenous players at their captains run, it was pretty great.

Killed by their extremes: Why the Wallabies have to find the graft and grind

Can you argue with his original point though? I went to Saturdays game as guest if the sport Australia indigenous council and to see the Wallabies dish that up in front of a home crowd Is dissapointong. They didn’t go into the breakdown with any energy.
We need to be better.

Killed by their extremes: Why the Wallabies have to find the graft and grind

I think the guy is a nurse, hardly a pointless existence Brett.

Killed by their extremes: Why the Wallabies have to find the graft and grind

I watched both this match and the NRLW and unfortuantely the League had a lot more entertainment value, although NZ did put together some classy tries.

Despite heavy defeat, fans need to back the Wallaroos
