Germany sent a statement for sure. Wirtz and Musiala on the same team should be illegal!

Also, the fact that you now have a Kylian Mbappe with a fresh mind on the back of his much-desired move to Madrid, supported by an elite cast. It’s a perfect group for the French to build into their campaign as well. Deschamps’s side is looking ominous.

If France doesn’t come in cocky like in 2020, no one is stopping Les Bleus

Yes, let’s hope the hosts can break their bad run of major tournament form. Squad-wise will no doubt be up there, it’s just about the mental.

'Generational... wonderkids... golden boys': The rising stars who can light up Euro 2024

Thanks mate, who do you have winning the Euros this year?

Personally, I want Southgate to kind of do an Ancelotti and let the player’s strengths dictate the tactics this tournament as it’s evident Southgate is out of his depth tactically. This won’t happen though as Southgate is one of the most pragmatic managers I’ve ever seen.

Hi Tony, I think Germany, the hosts will win the Euros. This is because I feel Spain has peaked too early, France and England have shown major weaknesses recently, Portugal is too imbalanced, and Croatia/Italy may make a deep run but in my opinion, don’t have the personnel to go all the way.

My dark horse pick would be Hungary even if you don’t consider them dark horses. Very good team.

'A fresh start might be the answer to elevate Souttar’s growing career': The Aussie's desperate situation at Leicester

Yeah, that’s fair. Some people don’t rate him, and some do. I just view him in that light, as he’s looked the part whenever I’ve watched him play. As long as his next move is logical, he’ll flourish. I’m confident of that. He’s only 25.

Where should Souttar go next?

Certainly will be! Have been looking forward to the Euros the moment the World Cup ended. How far do you think England can go with this golden generation?

From a striker struggling to score goals to a backline that keeps leaking them: The big concerns for Ronald Koeman's Dutch ahead of Euro 2024

The Gunners have been improving for the last 2 seasons so no doubt next season they will be up there challenging again!

Thriving in new role, Kai Havertz has proved doubters wrong under Arteta

Potentially Havertz can play in a front 2 or as a second striker mirroring his role at Leverkusen. Since he’s settled at Arsenal now next season could be big for him.

Thriving in new role, Kai Havertz has proved doubters wrong under Arteta

Hi, I think his last 5 games of the season at the very least guarantees him a place in the starting eleven come season 24/25. However there are rumors of Arsenal moving Jesus and Nketiah on so there will still always be competition for the striking position as expected with a big club like Arsenal. Arteta seems to really trust him as well so I think even if they play with a new striker up front, Havertz can play as a left sided center mid as shown this season.
