From the WADA handbook.
8. Direct observation of the urine passing from the Athlete into the colection vessel is critical. The DCO or Chaperone must witness the actual provision of the urine sample by the Athlete to ensure there is no interference with, substitution, or contamination of the sample during the course of the collection. The DCO or Chaperone should explain to the Athlete that in order to ensure the Athlete has provided the sample, the DCO or Chaperone must have a clear and unobstructed view of the passing of the sample. Sample Collection Personnel may want to consider the following suggestions when directly observing the provision of a urine sample:
• Instruct the Athlete to remove clothing that prevents a clear view of the middle of the Athlete’s body, hands and forearms. This should include the Athlete’s shirt being pulled up to mid-torso, sleeves rolled up to the elbows, and trousers pulled down to mid-thigh.
• Male DCOs or Chaperones may find their view is clearer if they position themselves at the side opposite to the preferred hand and to the front.
• Female Athletes may inadvertently obstruct the view with their preferred hand or their hair, so crouching down slightly toward the opposite hand should afford a clearer view.
• An Athlete may react to observation by turning away from the DCO or Chaperone. The DCO or Chaperone must adjust his/her position to ensure an unobstructed view or immediately inform the Athlete to turn back so the unobstructed view is possible.
How has he possibly substituted anything if the test was done properly?
Ban him for life if he has done this..

Good!
I’m sure Peter and GGG or any Hawthorn fan through 14/15/16 can attest to the more you are hated the sweeter it is.
Continue to hate us, it makes it so much sweeter when it all comes together..

Wouldn’t have had anything to do with the syndesmosis ankle injury that kept him out for the next 6 weeks?

Straight-sets exits await Geelong and Brisbane

So too is punching a player.

You cannot suspend on the potential for injury it requires too much personal subjective opinion.
Potential for injury means any player that punches another could slip the punch miss their mark and end up like Gaff.
* In my opinion a punch is much worse than a push into a fence.
A push/tackle into a fence could result in a injury like Guelfi or could as easily result in a Merrett like situation.

If you want change, players could potentially be suspended on the action.

Any punch is an automatic suspension of x weeks and extra weeks dependent on the severity of any injury.
Any aggressive push/shove results in an automatic suspension of x weeks and extra weeks dependent on the severity of any injury.

Nic Nat says he'd 'react the same way again' to having his hair pulled

So any player that pushes, shoves with force another resulting in the player going to the ground deserves weeks?
The fence I can understand. Luckily for NN Merrett seemed to be fine and played the game out.
Surely the action of punching someone in the stomach, like the Bont was subjected to is worse and more worthy of getting worked up about?

Is it the action that you have such a problem with or the fact Merrett hits the fence?
You’ve been banging your drum about this incident pretty incessantly this week..

Never said that, although I don’t think they are terrible players.
The Lions kicked 15 behinds, many of which were very gettable.
To say that Cameron is the Lions only avenue to goal is just incorrect shallow analysis.

NN beat Grundy in his 3rd game back this year.
NN only playing limited minutes allows him to not be run ragged.
Similar to DeGoey in the middle, no way he can play out an entire game against a full time midfielder, would be run ragged.
However his ability impact the contest in short bursts is amazing and game changing..

Straight-sets exits await Geelong and Brisbane

That’s a bit rough Nick.
Poor kicking on goal was more Brisbane’s problem, seemed to me to be an aberration.
Won’t happen that often that they will continue to miss close shots on goal.

IF they can get through Geelong I don’t think they set up base in Melbourne.
7 days between Geelong and a possible Prelim then 8 between that and the GF.

They’ve done it the hard way and to be any chance will have to play 16 quarters of football that they have only been able to produce for short bursts this year.
NN is the one that makes this unlikely outcome a slight possibility, if he stays fit and healthy it changes the entire dynamic of the Eagles and the way they play.

From flag favourite to dark horse: can West Coast still go back-to-back?

NN and Merrett to both get fines.
No suspensions for either player.

Like you Josh I am confident WC could beat any team on their day, I think 3 weeks on the road is going to be too hard of an ask..

Five talking points from West Coast vs Essendon

Duggan and Hutchings were both put forward to possibly play but both were denied as they hadn’t qualified.
There was a squad of 26/27 players that were named in an extended squad and so couldn’t play WAFL including Cameron and Ah-Chee that both were eligible to play.

West Coast Eagles vs Essendon Bombers: AFL elimination final forecast

Doesn’t mind the hard stuff
First game of AFL had 7 tackles, second most in that game.

WCE are playing the same height they have for most of the year.
Allen has gone out, replaced by NN.
Duggan out replaced by Hutchings.
Not necessarily like for like players but the height of the Eagles hasn’t really changed.

West Coast Eagles vs Essendon Bombers: AFL elimination final forecast

Hasn’t played in the WAFL.
The WAFL Eagles played last Sunday didn’t give enough time between games. The Eagles held back quite a few players from playing in the WAFL last weekend.

They don’t though…
They’ve requested to play at GMHBA for all their home games for years now.

Why Geelong deserve proper home finals

Interesting how the Collingwood and Richmond supporters on this site seem to be the most outspoken on this issue.
It’s almost as if they have something to lose…..

Why Geelong deserve proper home finals

By the only measure that should matter in terms of off field success, money.

Premierships should be the only measure on field.

Just like money should be for off field.

Everything that is done at these football clubs is to achieve 2 things, make money and win flags.

Hawthorn are not the best AFL club of the decade

On field success Hawthorn are streets ahead of anyone..
Off field success WCE are streets ahead of anyone…

The conversation is only for second in either of these categories.

On the basis that his foot goes into Barrass’s back and pushes him forward.
If he was going for a hanger I don’t have an issue, but you then wear the free kick.
I don’t like the kicking out to create space, use your body..
First one is a mark, doesn’t push into his back and has better positioning. Good mark.

First one is a mark, second one is a push in the back..

So much to happen this week, not only win/losses but margin can have a huge impact on this finals series…
What an exciting finish to the home and away!!

The finals equation: Every AFL club's Round 23 best and worst case scenario

90% above the shoulders.. So long as they are a good team..
GC could be the most mentally astute team in the league and they aren’t winning a flag anytime soon..
