Four Dally M’s two either side of his career.
Hasn’t missed the finals since 2010. Playing without the greatest team by his side. The backs he has around him this year and for the past few are terrible. Front row isnt great at the moment either. Backrow is decent.
Two Grand Final wins, three appearances.
Playing a large part of his career against dynasty type teams. Melbourne and Manly dominated for years.
He had plenty of success at club level.

Rugby League IQ: the untold stat

I’ll have think and see if I can come up with something. Haha. Would likely involve a video session where players are asked to identify essentially “what would happen scenarios.

Hahahahaha.

Agree. Munster will pick up a lot from the players he has had around him at the Storm. I see him as more of a ball runner then controller of the game though (at least in the past). He has definitely progressed his game with Cronk gone.

Billy should be able to chime in when needed and keep the attack moving forward.

Not sure about the hooking role yet. Macca and Granville (or whoever they go with) are capable but will be put to the test.

100% the one that gets me is the out the back play. Knowing when to hit the back-rower or hit the sweeping player.

You may be onto something there.

What if your NRL team was a car – part 2

That’s a quality car!

Plenty of talent there to turn it around!

NRL power rankings: Round 10

This would be pretty fair also. I have Roosters and Storm where they are as I feel they’re still not where they should be. Melbourne put in a fairly poor performance against the Titans despite the final score line. Roosters looked good and sure it wasn’t their fault the Warriors are under strength but this was one of the few games the Rooster have really put it together.

NRL power rankings: Round 10

I’ve got Souths at 3 as despite their current run of form they have only won two games against top eight sides this season, and three of there four losses have come against top eight sides.

Warriors at Mt Smart in a couple of weeks will be a good test.

Hahaha. Fair call. I’ve stitched a few teams up. I’ve got he rest written down just need to add content.

Oto Shark – I did have a bit more for you guys, but it seems to have been edited out. But I like what you’ve added!

Personal power rankings, so very subjective.

In regards to date and forecast. This first post is a bit of a mixed bag as we’re a third of the way through and this is my first post on the topic. I’m hoping to post one next week which will start to focus more on form and hopefully be a little more in depth (as I wrote most of this on my phone on the way into work this morning haha).

NRL Round 9 power rankings

Teams I like? That a bit harsh.

Bird has just been named in the centers. This kinda helps my argument. But from memory he is yet to provide a try assist wearing the 7. Plus I would hardly call 4 and 9 points convincing. Yea they won but they also got done by the Titans by 12.

Smith isn’t the Smith that he was last year playing in the role he is currently playing. He is spending a lot of time at first receiver which is preventing him from controlling the game like we are used too. The were two instances near the Dragons line were we’d expect more from Smith. The intercept, and one where instead of taking them on close to the line decided to turn his forward back on the inside, straight into he markers. Not saying they wont be a top four side, but there is still a lot of work to do.

Why is there so much love for Brisbane? They started the year with a no half and still have no half. Milford has two try assists for the year, and Bird shouldn’t be wearing a single digit jersey unless it’s a 3 or 4. They’ve got two victories from questionable decisions.

Melbourne also have some serious issues. While Munster has found form, Smith is struggling to control as he has in the past. Melbourne last year wouldn’t have let that game on the weekend blow out. Even Smiths kick that went dead from his 30 in the second half would have found the sideline.

Cows, maybe I have them a little high. But they are a quality side that are starting to find their feet again. Morgan has said he’s struggled with his role since JT return but the game against Penrith has helped him figure it out.
