I agree with the above! I would eventually like to see 3 more Queensland teams – Central Queensland, 2nd Brisbane Team and Ipswich Team and thats it for me. When and what order they enter the competition, well I’ll leave that to the powers that be?

Queensland should come first for NRL expansion

I would NEVER EVER have an NRL team based in Adelaide, seriously what is the point? A team based in SA would not add to the competition in any way, shape or form.

Commercially I dont think Adelaide could sustain them and the population increases are all occuring on the East Coast.

Having a team there just for the sake of it is, well, …stupid!

Some of your arguments are pretty pi$$ poor, some I dont even know what your talking about, actually reading your most of your posts I dont think you know what your talking about!! hahaha!.

Dave I will answer your one question. You say, ‘how do you judge kids playing rugby league all their life to kids playing rugby union in the toughest school rugby competition in the world who had never play league before’. Well since RU is so similar to RL, the same basic principles apply – running, passing , tackling. I bet even you Dave could spot a very talented RU player who has the qualities to play RL. It aint that hard actually.

Why do you keep going on about this toughest school rugby competition? In the end it is only a school comp, personally I’ve never heard of it. Does it have a name of just toughest rugby school comp on the planet? TRSCP? haha! fail!

BTW more than happy to take all your best RU talent, you know not all of them will come back. Most of the NZ kids may, but others from Fiji, Cook Islands, Somoa and Tonga may have second thoughts. They cant really chase an AB jersey can they, and thats what its all about hey cuzzy bro?

I like that you concede that RU developments are poor in comparison to RL. I didnt realise that the NZRU and ARU were in financial strife! Cant really deny it because the Aus vs NZ game in HK is all about getting more money, who has a 4 test series anyway? I remember it used to be 2! Whats gonna happen if SA pull out of SANZAR, hmmm that would be trouble wouldn’t it!

League World Cup in the US, im all for it, why not? You gotta start somewhere dont you Dave, I bet if it was successful the IRB would very quickly follow suit! Might ditch all that funding to the Islands and focus on the US!

Seems like Dave is a bit scared of League swooping in and stealing all the top up and coming RU talent. hahaha! I think it will only increase mate, sorry if that hurts! In a couple of years the league looks set to expand to 18 teams, so maybe this is just the tip of the ice berg? RL is now a business, and clubs are only going to go after the best talent no matter where they come from mate.

I dont see any merit in your argument that people should be angry and outraged that talented RU players taking the spots of RL players. Who cares if a kid has played RL since he was 6? If he is not good enough, he is not good enough, simple as that! The beauty of sport is that you are judged on your talent and ability. I would rather see a player who has talent and ability playing RL that grew up playing RU than a very average player who has played RL their whole life. Why would you give that spot to the player who has played RL their whole life? They havnt earned it! You cannot justify being angry and outraged. So your argument is pretty silly dont you think?

I do hope league snap up all the best talent. Seems all RU people are scared these days! No longer are our stars getting poached, but we are taking your best kids! haha!
