Made my weekend – first the Boks win well and now Fiji beat England at Twickers.. happy day!

best reply ever lol
'It stings, it hurts ... we got exposed': All Blacks alarm bells ringing after Springboks dish out worst EVER defeat
The youngsters are certainly firing things up!
I think he is – can dodge you in a phone booth and provides that ability to cover fb, wing, scrumhalf etc.
I suspect we will see Kolbe and Moodie as the wings, With KLA and Williams on the bench
Which means WLR or Willemse will miss out – probably the former as the Willemse and Libbock axis is working quite well.
My provisional 23 for the Scots at the mo
Kitshoff
Marx
Malherbe
Eben
Mostert
Kolisi
PSDT
Vermuelen
Faf
Libbock
Moodie
Esterhuizen
Kriel
Kolbe
Willemse
Ox
Bongi
Koch
RG Snyman
Kleyn
Kwagga
Kurt Lee Arendse
Williams
WORLD VIEW: All Blacks suffer 'grisly' fate, 'pummelled into submission,' as stunning Boks deliver a 'monstering'
Stunning result for the Boks – who IMO needed it more than the AB to validate the coaching approach this year and constant chopping and changing.. certain players have put the hands up for the Scots game (AE, Willemse, Moodie) and others have worked their way into form at the right time (PSDT). Going to be interesting choosing a 23 for the Scots game – think we may see a few surprised but hopefully not another 7-1 split!
For the ABs not the end of the world – although for some questions is perhaps a bit late in the day e.g. is Smith still the man and what to do about 12.
Either way – its what both teams needed before the big dance to get some tuning and refinement in place.
WORLD VIEW: All Blacks suffer 'grisly' fate, 'pummelled into submission,' as stunning Boks deliver a 'monstering'
Looking forward to this game but I think a win is more important to the Boks than the ABS
That said – the Boks while settled up front are still playing a bit of musical chairs in the back which wont help their cause
It might be a 'friendly' - but taking on the Boks at Twickenham is still oh so crucial for the All Blacks
Solid team – starting pack looks pretty handy. Suli the weak link in the backline
Bench is very green overall and will likely get minced by the french equivalent
Wallabies CONFIRMED: Eddie makes four changes in final pre-World Cup hit out, Suli and Foketi named
… unless you are Namibia
'Didn't come here just to take part': Wallabies out for World Cup shock in France - Foketi
😂 😂 😂
Greatest XV: Matt Burke's balls of steel and how one word from John O'Neill sent the Wallabies 'nuts'
Love the series mate – but minor correction “His first choice pair – also his club pair at Leicester – of Owen Farrell and Jack van Poortvliet” – Owen plays for Sarries. You would be thinking of George Ford last year
Are Rugby World Cup upsets on the horizon among Pool D's wayward underachievers?
Strong strong AB squad – good test for this Friday then for a strong Boks squad. Both with a few additional tweaks here and there but should be a good barometer
RWC News: ABs name strong team for Boks clash, Vunipola banned, journo rings alarm bells over key Wallabies
“exciting”
Like how Im “excited” with playing Ireland and Scotland to get out of our pool… will be more “excited” after we have got the wins needed to advance
The monster lurking in Pool C for the Wallabies
I know… not an alien position for him but right now? Can only think that Ams injury is worse than expected
Silly Billy: Vunipola sent off as England's chaotic RWC build-up worsens in Ireland, France thump Fiji, Boks torpedo Wales
Now this is an excellent move … very astute!
'Cancel his citizenship!' PM weighs in, ABs 'gobsmacked', as Hansen explains why he's helping Wallabies
Need to play the starting 23 for the Scots game. Will definitely roll out the B squad for Romania and then back to the 23 for Ireland. Then blended A & B for Tonga
Silly Billy: Vunipola sent off as England's chaotic RWC build-up worsens in Ireland, France thump Fiji, Boks torpedo Wales
Im going to be a bit counter here
The Boks were very wasteful and were made to look good by a very inept Welsh side who couldnt capitalise on the amount of freebies they were given.
We could also be better in the lineouts and under the high ball. That said – goal kicking aside – we at times played with good width and interplay. Pack as expected was very dominant at scrum and for a majority of the breakdown.
Given all the chopping and changing overall it was good – now need to build on it for next weeks game so that by the time the Scots game comes around we are humming
Silly Billy: Vunipola sent off as England's chaotic RWC build-up worsens in Ireland, France thump Fiji, Boks torpedo Wales
with a mum born in Dundee I have a soft spot for the Scots… just not against the Boks!
Agree we are going to have to be on top form for that first game .. will be interesting to see how cohesive we play over the next 2 games. Going to need to be sharp across the board as this Scots team certainly dont give up
'Give yourself upper cuts': Eddie furious at journos after 'worst press conference I've ever had'
Sounds like you need to come over to the dark side mate – we can always do with another Boks supporter – sure the missus will be happy to splash out on a jersey for you.
On a more serious note – outsider looking in – I think the Wallabies are actually going to do quite well – or at least to original expectation of a semis appearance… from there who knows but there will be 19 teams going home empty by the end of the tournament and a lot of them more highly favoured than the Wallabies
'Give yourself upper cuts': Eddie furious at journos after 'worst press conference I've ever had'
interestingly enough – Kwagga changing the dynamic on PSDT by pushing him into Danty did not expunge him from receiving a ban…
'Mockery', 'broken game', 'laughing stock': Rugby rages as red card reversal clears Owen Farrell for World Cup
its a beyond garbage response – with the bunker system in place – its now time to re-write the scope of the judiciary.
There should no longer be debate on the RC – merely sentencing mitigation – priors, behaviour, etc etc
'Mockery', 'broken game', 'laughing stock': Rugby rages as red card reversal clears Owen Farrell for World Cup
This is a f(arse)
We moved split moment decision making to a bunker who have time (ok only 10min tops) to check multiple angles to determine if something met a red card threshold
This decision basically says the bunker is purely a time efficiency exercise and that the outcome cannot be trusted.
In my view, with the system in place your flow is as follows
Ref believes its foul play – YC with report
Bunker determines its worse – upgrades to RC
Judiciary is there for sentencing – not whether my QC is better than yours and to debate if it actually met the RC. That part has already happened
'Mockery', 'broken game', 'laughing stock': Rugby rages as red card reversal clears Owen Farrell for World Cup
That is an interesting concept… if we were going all shapes and sizes a 2 ton limit for the match day 23 would make it interesting
Avg 87kg but that gives you leeway for a few pack heavies up front but you would have to thin down elsewhere
Why an under 85kg Bledisloe Cup could be better than the real thing
Baille is a bigger losss than Ntamack – Jalibert played throughout the 6N and was superb.
France have props but I would say most of their quality is on the TH side – although with Bamba also out thats also got a bit thinner but he isnt the starter like Baille
RWC News: France 'devastated' as star No.10 ruled out and prop in major doubt, England lose No.9, Kolisi ready
Mate this is a cracking idea
Why an under 85kg Bledisloe Cup could be better than the real thing
Im just bouncing between both on Flo – the commentary on the Italy game is just painful…
