That logic really is flawed. Eddie the lip has a better CV than Cheika and that worked out swimmingly. And Cheika has already ‘been there done that’. It didn’t end well and he certainly didn’t enhance reputations from the coaches box. Cheika is in the rear-view mirror and should stay there. He may well have matured and learnt a bit, especially to behave better, but his inner Cheika did pop out recently. He would be a retrograde step.

Perspective. You could say NSW want everyone to centralise entirely on their terms. Centralisation isn’t the issue, it’s trust and for good reason

It’s not just Rugby though is it. It’s 7’s & more intense and more exhausting with nowhere to hide and a 1 minute break in between. I disagree that “most players” can be going just as hard at the end of 15 minutes as when they started with only a minute break. Hooper can.

Speed yes but also very much ticker. He’s like a diesel landcruiser. Not even close to 350,000k on the clock so age not an issue. Not always as fast as some of the other 4by’s out there but close enough and will still be hooking in when the others oil lights start to come on.

I agree with you on the entitlement comment but I think it’s equal with the parochialism and unadulterated loathing between NSW & Qld. A centralised model with Qld handing the keys to the kingdom to NSW, good luck with that.
