The chase group of Gallopin, Navaro, Hardy, Ulissi, Attapuma and Mollard have lost 20 seconds to Edet and Lutsenko.
Neither of the two leaders are reknown climbers so they will have to be nervous about Attapuma.
Attapuma has been doing very little work in the chase group too with his team mate Ullisi pulling on the front for him.

AG2R are doing some serious work on the front of the peloton, the gap to the front is now 4.50min, 3.50 to the main chase group.
