The thing about the Eagles possibly moving up in the draft to get a QB which doesn’t make sense is that if Kelly is going to use Bradford as a bargaining chip then why waist all that time putting conditions in his contract about how many games he plays equalling a certain draft pick etc. In fact, those conditions mean that Kelly is looking to start with him in Week 1.
The other thing about Bradford, as you say, is that he cops a lot of flack and has never had a really good supporting cast around him. Well, he has got even less at Philly – Riley Cooper and Jordan Matthews are his receivers and the injury prone Ryan Matthews is his running back. I’d prefer what he had in St Louis.
NFL gets trade crazy: What is Chip Kelly thinking?
It has to be Russell Westbrook for mine. The guy dominates games and is so explosive. Statistically and physically he is a freak. If he has another month like his last one he should be an easy choice.
Who’s your money on for the 2015 NBA MVP?
Brady’s preparation is incredible. Google Alex Guerrero if you want to read more.

Thanks Worlds Biggest. I’ve really enjoyed this season and appreciated having regular commenters like yourself to debate with. As for the Nines I see a bounce back season in the near future. A fresh start might be the key.

Who are the Australian public to judge Tim Cahill?
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh snap, doubtful…. It’s been two months since your comment and guess what??? Your were 100 per cent wrong! What a shocking development!! Odell Beckham Jr wins rookie of the year and offensive rookie of the year and this catch wins play of the year. You and the other commenters on this thread who accused me of “jumping on the bandwagon” and “talking out of my backside” couldn’t have been more wrong. Hahahha.
Odell Beckham Jr catches the world's attention
Hey Mark. Enjoying the blog. What a bizarre game. Both offenses playing awful, making simple mistakes. Packers could have the Seahawks in a huge hole on the strength of their D, but uncharacteristic errors from Rodgers. He needs to fix that because you’ve got to put Seattle away or they will come back.

Yep. Bell being ruled out is a huge blow for the Steelers. That one is much harder to pick now, if Big Ben and AB go off then the Steelers should win.
Predicting the unpredictable on NFL's wildest weekend
Good yarn, Chris. I agree Harbaugh would be huge for this franchise and I can’t really think of anything else to bring them out of the mire. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that he is going to land there. The Raiders seem so erratic in their approach to shaping their roster – sometimes they draft, big, strong, fast, other times they splash out big on over the hill veterans. They need to focus their energies on drafting quality talent and building it into a place where players not just after one last pay check will come. I also believe they should, as soon as possible, move to LA. Anyway, keep up the good work.
Oakland's future comes down to the hiring of Harbaugh
I’m a bit confused Brendo. This is a sports opinion website, writers make comment or have an opinion on anything they want. I know everyone knows how the standings work and I’m not saying this snuck up on the Eagles or 49ers, I’m saying change the rules at the start of a season and see how it works. It’s an “injustice” because the Cardinals would be hosting a playoff game under my proposed system not heading to Carolina to play a team who managed to win a few games against equally shocking competition and sneak in. You don’t appear to understand, it’s not about who would beat who in the playoffs, it is about who deserves to be there. Again, you shouldn’t be rewarded for catching fire at the end of a season that was otherwise atrocious. You should, and would normally, be preparing for next season and wishing you had made your run a little earlier.
Don't reward Panthers for their mediocre season
Hey James. They will be favourites this week and they should, in my opinion, win comfortably. But that doesn’t mean they should make the playoffs. It should be about consistency, not stringing together a few games here and there.

Russell Wilson: Lynch's run was better than 'Beastquake' RT if you agree! #SNF http://t.co/NFQMY3ykaT pic.twitter.com/jHYrgtRyLD— SundayNight Football (@SNFonNBC) December 22, 2014
Beast Quake 2.0 good, but no match for the original
He was quoted more than once after the game in relation to the run. You must have seen the quotes from the press conference. On the field he said this:

Haha not match fixing. Just don’t put your best guys out there.
Why tanking isn't such a bad idea
If I were the Jets I would tank for Mariota. Redskins too.
Why tanking isn't such a bad idea
He hasn’t been named Rookie of the Year yet, but have a look at this: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000444410/article/odell-beckham-greatness-by-the-numbers?campaign=Twitter_atn_hanzus

So why can’t Mariota do what Wilson has done? No one knows where he is going to be drafted. Let’s say he goes to Arizona, Cincinnati, Philadelphia etc in two years, those teams typically have good running games and a good defense. He is a better athlete than Wilson – taller, better arm and has very similar work ethic and intelligence. I’m talking about Mariota having the skills to play in a pro-style offense, stay in the pocket and only occasionally take off and run for a first down not play in the pistol or the read offense or scramble around back there like some of those guys you’ve mentioned. That is why he is going to break the mould because he is not going to be a guy who looks at one receiver then attempts to sprint for a first down.
NFL-bound Mariota set to break the Heisman mould
Personally I hope he goes to the Eagles and runs Chip Kelly’s offense with McCoy and Sproles etc. Would be exciting to watch.

I don’t know if I agree with you about the McCoy trade. I think Buffalo got an absolute steal. The NFL’s leading rusher in 2013, a stud of a running back in his prime at 26 for a linebacker who, like Bradford, is coming off season-ending ACL injury and is an unknown quantity. See my comment below re the conditions in the Bradford trade that makes me think they are going to start the season with him. So, Bradford has an ACL injury, Alonso has an ACL injury and Matthews five years in the league have been ravaged with injuries.
He missed 10 games last season with an MCL injury and an ankle injury.
