Hawthorn has been dominating in terms of inside 50’s (36-23), which shows you the resiliency of the Crows to hang in at times, yet also punish the Hawks off the rebound.

A key statistic that we looked at before the game was that of clearances, and it’s Hawthorn who has come out on top. They lead that category (27-22), and also lead centre clearances (12-7).

The Hawks survive, and finish off what was a really strong quarter from them. They outscored the Crows by 38-20 in that term off the back of defensive pressure, and pushing the ball forward.
