Tigers fans protest Pascoe as Manly deal out another thrashing - and even Jurbo scored

What about Lee Hagipantelis who describes him and Pascoe as ‘protected species’ on a previous Fox Sports interview?
Lee just needs to go to advanced hair studio to cover up his and Pascoe’s ineptness at running an NRL footbal team.
Or maybe the Tigers just need to adopt the fedora as their team headgear?

Tigers fans protest Pascoe as Manly deal out another thrashing - and even Jurbo scored

I blame Trump!

Churchill's Latrell apology too little, too late with Rabbitohs' season imploding amid ongoing off-field dramas

The referees also missed Horsburgh’s shoulder charge on Jensen which was serious enough to warrant a 3-week suspension by the match review committee, so the Raiders got the rub of the green with things being missed by the referees in the game too.

I don’t recall Kevin Walters stalking the touchline and telling cameramen to FO when the Broncos were crashing out to miss the finals last year or the two terrible years before that…

Round 26 Talking Points: JWH, Ricky and a few others a bit 'tired and emotional' as pressure of finals race hits boiling point

Indeed.

Go Broncos!!

'I’m p--sed off that people aren’t doing their jobs properly': Ricky Stuart gives refs both barrels in epic press conference spray

Saucer of milk for Ricky!
While the Cobbo penalty was a very soft one, it was Rapana’s attempted trip that undid the game for the Raiders (and he’s done the same thing in the previous 2 games and been sanctioned by the NRL), so perhaps you should be dirty with his poor discipline more than anything else, rather than making everyone wait for you to have a sook at your post match press conference!!
And didn’t Walsh get several weeks on the sideline for swearing and you did the same directly into a Fox Sports camera that was on you?
And Walsh was fair game for Tapine’s tackle.
Reece should have had better awareness and could have passed the ball out of the field of play if he wanted to avoid same.

ANALYSIS: Reece Lightning strikes Raiders, Kotoni elbows Rapana and chaos reigns in Canberra

It’s simple physics.
Force + acceleration = Graham Annesley whining on Mondays that the players are at fault and the referees are the real heroes of the NRL that the fans want to see!

ANALYSIS: Seibold 'p--ssed off' at Bunker decision that ends Manly's season - and secures Warriors top four

Australia are at the bottom of the Rugby Championship table and I can’t see how the Wallabies are going to get off the bottom of that table.

Not much point in the Wallabies playing well for 20 minutes when a game lasts 80-minutes!

Wallabies game plan appears to be to give away 1 or 2 yellow cards every game!

The World Cup is just around the corner and not being able to play for 80 minutes or without giving away 2 yellow cards each game, and now losing 1, maybe 2 props for the RWC, means it’s curtains for the Wallabies in France 😔

All Blacks smash Wallabies to seal Bledisloe AGAIN as Eddie's pain grows after devastating injury to star prop

Knights played really well and deserved their win.

I’m not sure that the Storm were off tonight – I just think the Knights just played well.

As a Broncos supporter, thanks to the Knights for keeping your team in with a chance to make the 8 and for keeping the Storm another win away from us!

Probably a bit too much to ask the same from the Bulldogs against the Panthers tomorrow….

The lawyers acting for the Germans at Nuremburg put up a better defence than the Wallabies!

'Disaster': Wallabies hammered by Boks as Eddie Jones' return falls flat

😢

'Disaster': Wallabies hammered by Boks as Eddie Jones' return falls flat

I’ve seen Under 8s play with more competence, attitude and professionalism than the Wallabies today!

We’re now a Tier 2 nation, pure and simple.

Time for us to organise a Bledthislow Cup against Georgia and Russia!

'Disaster': Wallabies hammered by Boks as Eddie Jones' return falls flat

Now that I think about it, Alex Carey and the entire Australian cricket team were on the grassy knoll with Lee Harvey Oswald!

The spirit of cricket was murdered in cold blood by sunburnt thugs - and the game might never recover

Poms be whinging…

In other news, sun rises in the east and night follows day!

Stuart Broad has just given Pat Cummins a lecture on moral standards. The audacity is gobsmacking

It’s unacceptable for players to verbally abuse referees – simple as that.

However, I heard plenty of verbal abuse of referees about their in-game decisions on the ground microphones on the kayo coverage the past weekend and none of those players were charged this round!

Why didn’t the NRL charged the players on those teams?

One (totally justified) rule applied to the Broncos but not applied to the other teams.

There should be charging consistency applied and that should have been done this round if Walsh was to be made an example.

Of course, if the penalty also hurts inhibits the Broncos having a winning run and makes it harder for the Maroons to get a whitewash SOO win over NSW, then that’s just cream and a cherry on top of the referees ‘justice dessert’….

Also, why is a former referee on the judiciary when the charge they are to decide relates to verbal abuse of a referee? That’s like putting a bank teller on a jury deciding guilt at an armed robbery trial – hard for their not to be the appearance of apprehended bias!

NRL could have easily found a member who didn’t have an interest in the outcome against a ‘brother-in-arms’ or (probably) knew the referee the subject of the behaviour.

If the NRL are serious about protecting refs, they should have thrown the book at Reece Walsh

QUEENSLANDER!!!!!

Battered Maroons pull off stunning comeback on 'really poor' Blues to put Fittler's future in jeopardy

Everyone wrote the Broncos off for this game but they (just) came through in the end for the win.

Sailor was a great replacement for Walsh and Marriner played well.

Reynolds just gets wilier as he gets older!

GO BRONCOS!!

ANALYSIS: Depleted Broncos buck Origin trend as Reynolds inspires crucial win over Warriors despite last-minute drama

Whether it’s the NRL allowing Souths to play the Broncos for a while with 14 on 12 and not docking them 2 competition points, or sending the Broncos captain to the sin bin when the scores were locked to help give 2 competition points to the Storm, you can be sure that the NRL are doing all they can to impede a Qld team from making it to the finals.

Sorry, my tinfoil hat is on too tight.
At least it lets me get my Kayo for free ????

Round 11 judiciary: Origin duo charged, NRL admits sin-binning was wrong call as hip-drop confusion reigns

I’m sure the NRL will find a way to let Souths keep the two points. Wouldn’t want to upset Russell Crowe!
But if it was the Broncos or a Qld team in a similar position, I’m sure ‘an example would be made’ of them….
#nrlqldconspiracy ????

ANALYSIS: Souths humble Broncos but could lose competition points for 14th player - and Graham surges into Blues mix

I thought Mam’s and Haas’ tackles were hip drops but after looking at them some more, I think the Parra player and Ezra are looking at some sideline time while Haas’ is just a tackle that happens in a full collision sport.

But I’m sure the match review committee will tell me otherwise…

Hope Campbell-Gillard recovers soon.

ANALYSIS: Charges revealed after hip-drop dramas, Broncos may be title contenders, Eels on the slide

Maybe the Broncos (with the guidance of Adam Reynolds) are simply starting to realise their potential, rather than Souths are playing like rubbish-they’re just being beaten by a better team!

Yes, I accept that it was foolish for Souths to only offer Reynolds a 1-year contract extension to someone who would have been happy to be a one-club man, when many teams like the Broncos, were desperate for an experienced player to guide them around a game and would pay bigger $ for that experience, but you gotta lock that down.

I also accept that letting Gagai go at the same time was a poor decision. I understand Gagai wanting to go back to Newcastle and help them after they threw him a lifeline when he stuffed up at the Broncos but Souths should have done what was needed to keep him too.

Are the Rabbitohs going to make the eight?
