I’m not a fan of the rushed behind outcome.

There’s no current benchmark. It’s a little different for someone to rush a behind in regular play, compared to that play being the catalyst for the game to end.

Not that it really matters. We probably won’t see this tested for a long time.

Calm needed in the AFL golden point debate

It’s almost a joke that in 2013 we have to have these conversations, but unfortunately we are still stuck in that 1950’s way of thinking.

Well written article.

Acceptance, not tolerance for gay athletes like Jason Collins

I think the instability of their list hurt them in 2012 and they are still experiencing a hangover from this.

In previous years high-quality names like Didak, Krakoeur, Ball and Jolly would’ve spent significantly less time in the VFL upon return from injury. Perhaps Buckley’s theory of having players at 100% is having an impact on team stability and overall experience.

In 2013 they have placed a significant reliance on their less inexperienced players such as Blair, Josh Thomas, Dywer, Elliott, Sinclair, Fasolo, Clarke, Seedsmen & Frost.

With a full squad to pick from, only Fasolo, Blair and perhaps Elliott would be considered in their best 22.

I still feel that if they get most of their experienced players back on the paddock by mid-season (save for Toovey) they’re still a serious threat for the flag.

What's wrong with the Pies?

I was going for satire with the headline, but stopped short of naming specific reporters that I believe should be sacked.

The content of the article is serious. Whilst, of course, the media must report on the issues, it’s the blind assumptions and accusations that I strongly oppose.

Regardless of the topic, I’ll fight for every person’s right to be presumed innocent until proven guilty until I’m blue in the face.

AFL reporters must be stopped

Exactly.

AFL reporters must be stopped

This is actually my first article that I’ve attempted (and it appears that my proof-reading needs work). You must have me confused with another Michael.
