Does the responsibility for the low attendance lie with the rugby fans who weren’t aware of the match? Or with the organizers for not putting in the effort (so easy, as you say, in this digital age) to make fans aware of it?
Regardless, my main point is that if they’re going to go to the effort of hosting matches here, surely SANZAAR and the Sunwolves have a vested interest in pushing it to be a success.
The upcoming sevens will probably be the litmus test for the supporter base here in Singapore. That’s getting daily radio ads, regular Facebook ads etc.

I agree – I can’t fathom the logic of playing 3 “home” games in Singapore (only an 8 hour flight away from Japan), but if it gives us the chance to see some super rugby here then I’m all for it.
Next up the Bulls in 2 weeks, and then the Stormers later in the season.
