Have played club rugby, coached club & sub-district rugby & been a level 2 referee & referee coach. Also played enough cricket as an opening bowler to make sure my knees are totally useless!

Speight has only ever played well in Brumby colours. He is not up to playing in Gold. Seems as though he doesn’t believe in himself at that level.

Roar Forum: What changes should the Wallabies make for France?

What’s with you humble Kiwis? You even have to take credit for Scotland playing well? Give it a break.

Five talking points from the Scotland vs Wallabies Spring Tour Test

Redsback, your are far too biased in your assessment of Foley and your complete infatuation with Crab Cooper. You have totally disregarded Foley’s great hands under continual severe pressure from rush defence while receiving very slow ball from Genia. It was these beautiful hands that put Keridrani away for the winning try.

Wallabies vs Scotland highlights: Wallabies escape with 23-22 win

That’s the beauty of hindsight. He was better on the wing. Scored a lot more tries. Maybe Deans was on the right track.

Roar Forum: What changes should the Wallabies make for Scotland?

Shame you missed the 1st half. He was really good.

The relevance of this question is?

Highlights: 111 years in the making, Ireland finally beat All Blacks

It looks like the 10 minute edit period when you post something can be used by anyone, not just the poster. Roar IT dept. Fix, please!

Highlights: 111 years in the making, Ireland finally beat All Blacks

Spot on, Davo. Foleau was always more dangerous on the wing.

Roar Forum: What changes should the Wallabies make for Scotland?

That’s the way, Harry. Get rid of all those useless Waratahs, especially the man of the match last night (Foley) and 2-time Eales medallist (Hooper). While you’re at it, get rid of that other impostor, Foleau!

Roar Forum: What changes should the Wallabies make for Scotland?

Fair call. I said Genia will probably play ahead of Phipps. My own opinion is that he played well enough to retain his spot. Genia shouldn’t be considered because he chose to play overseas instead of for the Wallabies but the Giteau Rule is a different argument for a different thread!

Roar Forum: What changes should the Wallabies make for Scotland?

Why on earth would you consider dropping Foley after his performance against Wales and his performance in Bledisloe 3?

Genia’s available, so he”ll probably play ahead of Phipps, who had a pretty good first half but lost the plot a bit in the second. Much as I don’t think much of Speight in Wallaby colours, he probably deserves another crack. He didn’t get a lot of opportunities. Our scrum went noticeably downhill when Slipper came on. I’d like to see Robertson on the bench instead. Fardy played well when he replaced Pocock and Coleman, Arnold & Timani were great. Simmons didn’t go too badly when he came on, either.

Cheika tossing up possible Wallabies team changes for Wales

Fed up with all this crap about Kiwi humility. Let’s just call it patronising smugness & be done with it.

Bring out the clowns! NZ Herald takes aim at Gatland with another cartoon

Why blame the ARU?

These players signed up with overseas clubs knowing they were finished as Wallabies. It was always that way until the stupid GIteau rule. Let’s keep it simple. Chuck out the GIteau nonsense & the window won’t matter.

Will Genia and the Wallabies victims of a slack World Rugby

No one cares about test match league. All interest is club games or (bow, genuflect, prostrate yourself) “STATE OF ORIGIN” – the greatest test of true grit, strength & skill known to mankind!

(Did I get it right, Gus?)

The Wallabies could win a Grand Slam and angry fans might not see it

Better drop Douglas from your list, Bubblehead. He doesn’t play for the Waratahs anymore.

The Wallabies could win a Grand Slam and angry fans might not see it

Perhaps so, but he made the choice to play overseas instead of with the Wallabies. Genia & the Wallabies need to accept that and get on with life. We need to focus on the alternatives now.

Genia to miss Wales clash after Stade Francais block Cheika's recall

With the exception of the Cheika rant, I agree with you, Ruck.

The GIteau Rule takes away the pain of not being able to play for your country. The players who qualify are senior Wallabies who love being involved in the international team and they miss it when they leave. If they want to go for the big bucks or experience overseas, fair enough. But they’ve made their choice and should be gone so younger players get the chance to take their place. You have to give young players the incentive to stay and aim for the Wallabies.

Thanks, Melon.

I picked mine because a good friend and I like to get together over a few schooners and solve the problems of the world. Someone once said we were like the old muppets bagging everyone from the balcony. So there it was – Statler & Waldorf at your service!

Wallabies grand slam chances? Cheika says it's in their dreams

Fardy brings many good things to the team but is so ill-disciplined. He gives away a lot of penalties and, with the NH sharpshooters, I don’t know that we can afford it.

Cheika set to move Folau to centre

Why is Cooper a better fly half? He drifts sideways all the time & takes away space from his backline. Foley showed the value last week of running straight. The Wallabies backline looked much sharper.

Cheika set to move Folau to centre

Not really a180. He’s still saying Foleau’s best position is fullback & he’s only in the mix for 13 short term. Despite his success at 13 for the Waratahs, I still think his best position is right wing. i think he’ll start scoring tries again from there.

Cheika set to move Folau to centre

Agree, bigbaz. I thought Cheika sounded quite humble, didn’t you?

Wallabies grand slam chances? Cheika says it's in their dreams

Don’t be misled by the nonsense coming out of the Sydney press. They’re just pushing the Dwyer / Jones / Papworth agenda to kill Super Rugby & NRC.

I’m an east coast Aussie & applaud the work the Force are putting into developing their juniors and growing the game in WA, which I firmly believe to be an important area for Australian rugby. The fruits of their labours were displayed in the Spirit’s NRC victory.

The Rebels are also investing heavily in their juniors and local comps & have the junior results to prove it.

There’s plenty of room for all the current SR sides & the end result will be more depth for the Wallabies.
