The five Sydney teams that could relocate to Queensland
If you merge two teams, don’t they become one club? Shouldn’t they have the same number of home games as everyone else? There’s only 24 games to play. Maybe they should be rewarded with more salary cap space?
The five Sydney teams that could relocate to Queensland
The SCG’s attendances this season are suprisingly the fifth-highest of any regular stadium in the competition. Maybe that argument isn’t as valid as it used to be?
The five Sydney teams that could relocate to Queensland
The Roosters have ended their agreement with the South Australian Council, so they won’t play there anymore. Both the Bulldogs and Roosters have signed up to Perth at HBF Park. Personally, I don’t think Brisbane will ever accept a relocated team of any kind but I do support the occasional relocated match if it’s against a team from the area (like how Manly moved one of their home games against the Broncos).

Yep the NRL introduced suburban grounds back to the first two weeks of the Finals Series.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 23
I kinda hope the Bulldogs make the finals even though I don’t support them… It would be a great story, before getting knocked out by Manly or Souths.
The unlikely Bulldogs live to fight another week
I think the DRS has undoubtedly added to the game. Without the DRS, there is no way for sure that players can know that the correct decision has eventually been made. It also adds a sense of game-management, with players having to judge and know when to use reviews to make the most out of them to hopefully get as many wickets as possible.
Is technology helping or hindering umpiring?
I don’t think it’s not been seen as a matter to have purpose-built venues – its a matter of actually getting it to happen. Money, time and space is what is required. Football, I’d say is 4th on the list when it comes to major sports in the country after AFL, RL and Cricket. Currently, the football teams are latching on to what the RL does because they are seen as the main users of rectangular stadiums in the country. Something will have to change for this idea to happen in reality.
