'An utter shambles': RFU, Barbarians savaged for 'unforgivable' match cancellation after COVID outbreak

A difference of opinion Markus….

The next batch: The Wallabies to watch for 2022

Markus, I can’t understand why the Brumbies are not giving Frost more mins on the paddock. If they are developing him they had better get a move on. Use him or lose him maybe?

The next batch: The Wallabies to watch for 2022

I also like Will Harris at the tahs who seems to do the work around the park and the breakdown. Carlo TIZZANO has not confirmed for next year with the Tahs, although I think he will be another Hooper, he could turn out a good one.
We need a big, fast and competent 15 and I ain’t seen it yet. Maybe this year someone will show up if Petaia doesn’t get a run at 15 with the Reds.

The next batch: The Wallabies to watch for 2022

AH, if you haven’t seen him he will be 10 at Rebels next season and played back end last season. He was a development player for the Reds but wasn’t getting a run, the story Red Rob I think said Brad was not happy he went .
I’ve watched him play a few games and he has the talent but we have seen that before, it depends on how hard he is prepared to work to make it.
The thing I liked about him was he went back to club as soon as SR finished and seemed to be enjoying himself leading them around.

The next batch: The Wallabies to watch for 2022

RF, I am really excited by Carter Gordon who looks good and seems to love his rugby. He has good hands, kicks well, takes the ball to the line and can find a gap or feed a runner.
He may be too inexperienced to make this RWC but I believe he’s a strong chance after that.

Ken, Looking back as a 74 year old, I had such dreams as a young man; Socialism would be the default system of the world (oops!), we would be flying everywhere and cars would be forgotten, energy would be almost free, all diseases would be controlled, we would work 20 hours a week, education would be at a very high level for everyone and we would be run in some system like ‘the glass bead game’.
I’m a diver/photographer and started in 1972, never imagined we would still be using compressed air and a bag to lift us. I thought we’d be using liquified gas in a tiny container, a wet suit with inbuilt buoyancy and a drive system attached to our backs to get around.
The computer and photographic equipment is a major improvement for diving, our advances in science have helped particularly in health but our poor education system and lack of concern for the majority, whilst claiming we care but only for minorities, has dragged our society down.
It strikes me we live in a wealthy society and despise the wealth we have created. We prefer a world of ideas and maintaining our society with sensible actions is non-existent.
Sorry you started this? I guess you are….Generally, just like many old men whose dreams vanished,

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Ken, I too was a dreamer (John affected many!). I would like to say that old age forced me to face reality but I think it is just the madness of this world.
Just read that part of the trans world is advocating sex with children is a normal part of the spectrum. It is stuff like this, that I forecast would happen 5 years ago, that has forced me to wake up as opposed to becoming WOKE..https://thecritic.co.uk

Is that to be deported, Adam? if not can’t understand why – that’s a brumbies shirt as your moniker? Normally automatic entry into stardom!

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Oh! Yes you are, you romantic fool!!!!

I would settle for a list of all the public servants sacked or demoted for the huge stuff-ups in lack of control of the borders during covid inc latest Xi grenade.

Sage, so you don’t want a politician to be a politician – Is that it?

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Sorry Muzzo, I’ve got no idea! I haven’t watched the news for about 20 years and I just pick up things as I go along.
You should not spend your time with the dead and the dying and the news is full of it…

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Jacko, I believe so but the curtains were drawn along with several speculations!

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Nah! Ken, she’s gone missing hiking the whatever trail (trial?) over there.
Princess J is not happy with your post and you will be arrested on arrival, stay out of Hobbitville…

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

I knew it Jacko, never want to meet a ‘duel citizen’ in a dark alley.

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Jacko, I think the NZ govt. pulled a few strings, if I was forced to stay I would have doubled the right-wing voters in the country.

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Paul D, I agree anyone who refuses to play rugby union for Australia should be deported.

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

ATW, Did the test and passed but still got 3 questions wrong. Very interesting.

Muzzo, who is boofhead? If you are referring to our PM then give me a sensible alternative for the next election? BTW I am no fan of any of them since Abbott got the chop.
I understand Kiwi’s are the most incarcerated group by % of the population in the country, even greater than Aboriginals.
Why not deport them, should we just let them out to continue?

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Ken based on my experiences with them – Does the scale go minus?

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

In the late 80’s I had permanent resident status and a travel visa. Went to NZ for business and tried to book into return flight and was told I could not travel to Australia as my visa had run out whilst in NZ. I had to phone the embassy and explain I was married to an Aussie, owned a house in Sydney etc etc and after about 3 hours and lots of phone calls I was issued a special visa.
I was seriously crapping myself that I would be stuck in leftwing Hobbitville for the rest of my life!!!

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Agree with this. God!, we can tie ourselves in knots over bureaucratic nonsense.
I was amazed that he was not a citizen. Wonder how many others have issues in this area?

'Forever grateful': Quade Cooper faces final test of the year as citizenship bid comes to a head

Rhys, would love to debate this with you, at least are reasonable which I have found most on your side of this contentious issue are not.
Consensus is not science. Einstein stated in reply to the ‘100 scientists against Relativity’ ‘why 100, one would do?’.
I remember global cooling in the 70’s when some scientists were proposing to use more fossil fuels1 Saw a video of one of those scientists from the 70’s recently looking at climate change effects in Greenland talking about the impacts of a warming world.
The temp from the late 30’s was as high as it is today.
The sea level has not accelerated despite models predicting it.
Have a read of Unsettled by Steve Koonin he sums up my concerns very neatly.
Agree back to rugby. Nice talking with you on this important subject.

'An utter shambles': RFU, Barbarians savaged for 'unforgivable' match cancellation after COVID outbreak

Bourkos, I can see what you are saying but I think there are more than a few who are confidence players. Valetini went missing in a couple of tests but came back strongly. Paisami is prone as well, Beale is nothing but confidence. I think it is a major issue in the Wallabies – one good game one not! Consistency and competence is what is missing atm. I have noted over the last 6 years that the guys play well when they have momentum but collapse when they don’t. There is limited ‘metal’ in the team and that strength comes from competence and success, just telling yourself you are confident is like trying to float on a bunch of leaves.
Hodge is a gutsy player and I agree with you that he needs reinforcement that he is capable, i suspect as he is shuffled around he thinks he is not quite good enough but to my mind he is not an all time great but a good soldier.

Numbers speak to just how hard Rennie is working to find Wallabies' way forward

NH, I thought of this too, but it’s pro sport and think of the guys in OZ who have been pushed aside for older heads from Japan and Europe? I am sure the same thing happens in NH teams as well.
It is tough but I hope it is for a better future for the PI’s
