Watched it halfa doz times – and probably many more to come! This RL advert made the AFL guys green with envy.
It was engineered by one of the best sports promoters I have known: Mr Graham Lovett.
It worked and it worked big time.
Tina Turner is available – you’d think.
Ask her for a reprise, no harm in that. She genuinely loved doing that promo and said so.
A clever re-creation with (Tina) and the modern music stars would be a sure-fire hit but no, that’s way too clever.

I am sticking with my guns. I believe the League has had time enough to appoint a new leader and one would ideally have been in place for the season opening.
Perhaps they had a candidate lined up and it all fell through, but I doubt it.
