You’re just angry they don’t play at Parramatta anymore Terry haha.
It’s not Rugby’s fault no one watches the games anymore, as long as everyone is happy guess.

A timely reminder that there’s plenty of good stuff in our game, too

How would you know there has only been one crowd over 10 thousand Terry?
They don’t record their crowds anymore, like we aren’t supposed to notice that the crowds are terrible.

Super Rugby Pacific: The first month report card

Before Covid there was a real buzz around the Samoan community about League and the mighty Roar. I think you’ll see it again this year.

Fox League have dropped the ball with refusal to acknowledge RLWC is happening this year

The Western Sydney SS Fiasco was in Penrith Fiwi, so why play it in Parramatta?

The Wrap: Sparkling Sunday saves Super Rugby opening round

Terry they want to play it in the best Stadiums in Australia and at the moment that is the best Stadium. As soon as they finish the new SFS it will be a forgotten memory like the rest of West Sydney.

The Wrap: Sparkling Sunday saves Super Rugby opening round

Yeah because you always played so awesome after working all week Jakie.

Want to criticise NRLW players' performances? Great, but don't ignore their wider context

It has tags like Oz Tag but the rules are a lot more aligned with Union, it has make shift rucks and lineouts too, looks kinda fun but I’m not sure how successful it will be.

The Wrap: Expectations high as Super Rugby heralds a 'new era'

Great point Mick, I am the same,. I will still watch the games but I am not going to be a member and support the code anymore after the cut Penrith from the comp. If they don;’t wat us we do npot want them.

The Wrap: Expectations high as Super Rugby heralds a 'new era'

Yeah can’t wait Mick.

The Wrap: Expectations high as Super Rugby heralds a 'new era'

Mick you are the Super Rugby Grinch. Aren’t you looking forward to seeing 3000 people at Bankwest watch the Tahs?

The Wrap: Expectations high as Super Rugby heralds a 'new era'

Good one Dave, God forbid an Aboriginal has an opinion on Rugby.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Mate I wouldn’t worry about it, it is Rugby’s loss. My son played City Country in 2020 and the amount of gun Indigenous kids coming through is unreal. And we are seeing it at NRL level, Cody Walker Jadyn Campbell etc. If Rugby do not want to sign them cause they go to the wrong schools or live in the wrong area that is their problem.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Not anymore Terry, so many young Samoan boys play only League now. Go to Panthers Junior Reps and check out who is training and playing for them, it’s unbelievable.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Thanks Jimmy, I don’t think Union realise how much elitist their sport is in Australia.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Unfair criticism of RA? They stood aside and let the Emus get kicked from the comp because we aren’t from the right schools and live on the wrong side of town. And you are wrong in my experience, my son and all his friends at high school age chose League over Union before any of them earnt a cent. It’s easier, games are closer, facilities are better and no one looks down on them because their Dad wears hi Vis every day. Yes the Emus have made mistakes but the deck is stacked against them. You really have no idea how elitist RU is in Australia.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Thanks Ken, I always liked the Panthers but I didn’t know how impressive they were till my son started there. Rugby could do far worse than trying to partner with them.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Considering Cleary just got a Giant Panthers tattoo I don’t think he’s going anywhere for a while.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

There is some division between those out here with less money and the richer clubs near the City though Ken, otherwise they would not have cut the Emus.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

As someone who was born in Samoa i disagree slightly with your point, yes RU is way bigger Internationally and it has huge comps in Europe and Japan as well as a fantastic World Cup. But for those from Polynesian backgrounds to play the highest level Union you have to turn your back on your heritage and play for the Wallabies or the All-Blacks. yet the NRL lets these players earn good money in Australia and hav the oppoertunity to represent Samoa against the Worlds best,

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Thank You KP, it is more just thinking out loud as I have seen just how appealing the Panthers are from my son playing in their system, compared to when I was at the Emus many years ago.

Could the Panthers be key in rugby union's future in Penrith?

Mate get her in League Tag, my daughter plays it here at Penrith and absolutely loves it. Multiple grades so if she is just beginning they will really look after her.

Melbourne Rebels become first Super W club to pay players

Why pick players when you can colour In the numbers Mick?

'Incredibly special': Wallabies jersey gets new twist with permanent First Nations design

You won’t win Mick, now your boy has signed to the Bulldogs they see you as the enemy.

Wallabies need an urgent injection of composure ahead of Springboks and Pumas

My boy does not go to Westfields, It is just that bit too far with both me and his mum working full time, he does not go to Pats Blacktown either he just goes to the local high school. But the Panthers still came out and looked at him. He probably won’t make the NRL but he should do well in NSW Cup or Massey and he is lost to Rugby forever. All because I cannot afford to send him to the right school, and this is happening with talented kids out here all the time.

Rugby in New South Wales must adapt or die

My son was born in Samoa but we came to Australia when he was 4, he’s a big kid with lots of skill and a his life has been Rugby to the core playing in the Penrith competition. Because everyone at school always talked about League he wanted to play that game too so he played both sports for years. He’s now in the Panthers academy because NSWRU had no interest in him and our whole family watches the NRL now and hardly any Union, only if someone we know is playing Super Rugby. Do you know why NSWRU didn’t want to look at him? Because he goes to a public school. And this happens every year with dozens and dozens of Samoan kids, Rugby is dead in Western Sydney. The only hope they have is if the Emus somehow join with the Panthers and get some funds and the kind of facilities the kids want to play out of.
