Fans of, say, the Tigers would still get to watch their team every time it visits Sydney.
Now thats expansion and we keep the ideal number of 16 teams without splitting the revenue across another team.

The problem is that the Top 8 system means that games dont get much meaning until the end of the season.
Remember, Origin just has 3 games….generates massive revenue.

If you want to fix NRL games then u must have less of them, the season is simply too long. Too many games. with the top 8 system the games dont become important until the final 7 weeks.

I dont rate Aaron Woods that highly, he never hits hard in defence and runs without passion. His hippy hairdo speaks volumes.

I believe Woods is lazy and lacks fire and passion. His hits dont hurt, his runs dont hurt. He is the anti-Klemmer.

You do highlight a genuine problem. Is the contest about sport or is it about promoting a social cause. Alas to me its the latter, its a well-meaning feel-good exercise.
its not an actual sporting contest. the All Stars team is just a hodge podge of anyone. this game doesnt reflect a real life rivalry like NSW v Qld does. Its completely artificial.
