Big Lynch back soon ?

Footy Fix: 300 games in, Richmond's greatest ever captain is still inspiring his team to glory

Maybe Port won’t lose another game until the next Showdown…hopefully the Crows can hit top form after the break.

Footy Fix: 14 minutes, 29 seconds, six goals - how 2023's most brutal burst saw Port obliterate the Cats

The Blues might want to get to the front of the queue for Josh Carr or the like rather than get caught in the rush 2024

Six Points: Sicily and Butler did nothing wrong, ridiculous Weightman pile-on, and calling out abysmal commentary

Having headed the Pies for all but the last 20 seconds last time around, the Crows will be looking to rub salt into Collingwood’s wounds this time. Thanks to the Dees for showing how to do it – I’m glad it’s only the Pies next game and not the Demons.

Footy Fix: Ferocious Demons shut down the Magpie machine at last... but is it repeatable?

Crows vulnerable v Doggies: Crows worst loss came after their best win v Saints. Down to earth and will bounce back with a few key players back v the Lions at AO

Six Points: Calling out Daicos' dog act, and the commonsense alternative to 'interchange-gate'

Last man standing: Canberra

With Tasmania locked in to join the competition, where is the inevitable 20th AFL team destined to come from?

Gee IDK… maybe someone like Milera or Parnell or Jones. I’m sure the coaches will come up with the best option. I would play Sloane on Sidebottom.

Footy Fix: Someone, please, just lay a hand on Nick Daicos. Anyone. Please

‘See ya later’ Slater of course – brilliant!

Which footy code has the best nicknames?

‘The brick with eyes’ GOAT IMO

Which footy code has the best nicknames?

Last season, I heard many times about the Lions’ strong backline – but they seemed inconsistent to me.

AFL Oracle: These teams just missed the eight last year - can any of them go a step further in 2023?

lack of depth might see them miss the 8

Beware Saints' new tagger, outrageous Errol, and a September smoky: Talking points from AAMI Community Series Day 2

Crows are on a roll – winning form is good form 🙂

Beware Saints' new tagger, outrageous Errol, and a September smoky: Talking points from AAMI Community Series Day 2

Sure – but that’s why people have cable TV

The AFL needs a London Football Club

Agree that moving the ball efficiently is a major problem – so the mids will have to perform more strongly and deliver more accurately. Hopefully, it will all click this year and they will be at least mid-6…or else! I had only 20 players on the list that were up to regular AFL standard, so a few injuries would really cruel their chances. Maybe a surge-type game style rather than a contested possession slick ball movement style would suit their strong forward line.

How clean can you get!

The AFL needs a London Football Club

I doubt many would have the patience needed to understand a game which has some basic rules that are so hard to explain e.g. in the back, holding the ball, – not to mention that interpretation changes significantly during every season and the cheap shot jumper punches and guernsey rips that stand in high contrast to the far cleaner spectacle of American football.

I’m surprised they continue not to adopt last touch out of bounds from a kick or handball penalty as this would seem to clean this area up a fair bit. I also reckon the old kick-in rule was better than the new one.

AFL cracks down on 'stand rule' 50m penalty milkers as rule tweaks announced for 2023 season

Agreed – middle 6 no excuses

AFL player movement and draft power rankings: Club's 'nonsensical' trades, and the premiers ace it again

Only player I have seen do a 360 in one direction followed by a 360 in the opposite direction while corralled and looking to handball to a team-mate, which I think he did. That was in 2022 🙂

'One of the greatest honours': Pendlebury steps down as Magpies captain, but will play on in 2023

It seems we can sell homeboys the vision thing, but not Victorians.

When will the Crows break out of their ongoing crisis?

Swans won the Q2 arm wrestle by a point to give them some hope, but that was the end of it. A tight contest but the Cats always had it under control.

Cats get the cream: Geelong smash sorry Swans to claim 2022 premiership

Good comments by the CEO and good leadership – seems he will do his best to create an orderly and appropriate investigation. Makes the Front Bar sniping seem like a series of cheap shots. But I guess each has a job to do.

Salem for one wasn’t nearly the key player he was in 2021 and before…
Was he targeted to stop the Ds run off HB ?

'Devastated' Goodwin opens up on 'empty' straight-sets finals loss

A young Mundy is the sort of champ that the Crows need but don’t have.
