Now, surely Les Kiss and the selectors are awake to the liability Vunivalu is to the Reds and Rugby. I have written almost every week, this guy is a game killer. The ultimate selfish player who doesn’t stick to the job at hand. Please, please let him go.

Reds denied a losing bonus point by Drua in Fiji as Suli Vunivalu is sent off for tripping

Will big Ned be missed. He was one of a band of Chieka favourites together with AAC, Beale, Mumm and Hooper. There were always better players, but these guys got the lollies. Although I think Ned could’ve been a better player if he had to fight for his jersey and simply not be gifted it.

Tahs in turmoil: Hanigan and Harrison jump sinking ship, skipper forced to stay, CEO complains of 'tricky' task

I still find it hard to understand the Reds love for Suliasi Vunivalu. He destroys the backline defence play. His opposite winger has open space if he were to get the ball. When there is a maul close to the try line… who is wanting to score a try but Suliasi Vunivalu….again leaving his wing.

Super Rugby teams round 13: Frost to No.6, Noah back for Brumbies, Aubrey starts for Reds, Pone in for Rebels

Great to see another win. Enough to build a little more confidence. Wilson is a loss though.

'Perhaps it's surgery': Reds win ugly over Rebels to keep top four hopes alive as big-name Wallabies forced off

Sorry, I meant to write 10 & 13

Exclusive: Wallabies star turns down mega deal overseas to re-sign with Queensland Reds

Horan-like for mine. But where Horan had strength and experience at 10 & 12, Paisami has developing players with little experience. He has to shoulder so much more. A concern.
The strength of the Reds are the eight forwards and the reserves they bring on. Their weakness is the outside backs. You often find them out of position in defence.
Vunivalu and Petaia both have poor playing structure at times and I think can have a negative effect on Paisami’s game. When one or both are missing, he seems to play a lot better as he is more confident that those around him will be united in the game plan.

Will Hooper make the Wallabies 7’s for the Olympics. There are many occasions when he seems lost out in the middle.

Aussie women's team lose Singapore Sevens final to NZ, sweat on star's fitness ahead of Olympics

Ryan, Wright HP were my standouts.

Vunivalu Had a shocker and should not play another game for the Reds until he learns to stick to his wing.

Even his try occurred whilst leaving is opposite winger clear. It is a very poor part of his game which a good opposite flyhalf would expose.

'Run-on debut like no other': Junior Wallabies flyer announces himself to the world after stunning hat-trick

Once again we were let down by Vunivalu. A certain try went begging in the first half. But his inability to stick to his wing in defence is by far his and the Reds greatest flaw.

'Heartbreaking': Blues sink Reds with post-siren try after rising star scores epic hat-trick

Yet there will be more Tahs chosen in the Wallaby squad than the other franchise

Tahs' season hanging by a thread after Chiefs go whack to post bonus point win

Always been overrated. Never been in the top 5 for his chosen position. Unfortunately was a favourite of Chieka and got too many call ups to the Wallabies.

Wallabies in danger of losing Hanigan to ambitious French club just as forward enters his prime

Maybe Horan quoted me. But which part are you referring to

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

Good to see the Reds had a win, although quite clunky, they played till the very end. I think on McDermotts return, Liam Wright should retain the captaincy on his own. He is an inspired leader and one that the rest of the team look up to. I think Captaincy for McDermott is a distraction.

Jordy is no great loss as his inconsistent play is something the team can do without. The same goes for Vanulalu . He constantly goes off his wing and leaves a massive overlap, putting pressure on his teammates to cover.

Also something needs to be done regarding the number of times players were holding the ball in one hand and when knocked or tackled by the opposition loses it forward. This happens at least six times game.

I was also unhappy with a number of poor lineout throws. It is a basic part of the game And yet can destroy advantage the team has built.

Lynagh had a good day. Like Mac Grealy he gives it all and doesn’t stop working.

Well done Reeds.

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

Sadly, Jordy is overrated. Look is by far a bigger loss. Campbell had a better game

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

It might be a good thing for the Reds to lose Tate for 3 weeks. Form has been average. McReight in the other hand is a loss. He, Wilson and Wright are huge for the team. Only positive is he is resting. Regardless on the consistency of the judgement…. They were both guilty. Suck it up and use it as motivation in the next 2 games

'Not ideal': Reds star duo cop Super Rugby bans after red cards - but where's the consistency?

Here was I starting to believe in the Reds. But, once again they were poor. Flook was out of the game from the 71st minute with a shoulder injury but played on. The reserve flyhalf was very poor and Jock Campbell looks like he doesn’t want to be playing.

'Brain explosion': Wallaby stars sent off as Queensland left red-faced in Moana Pasifika shocker

Let’s hope any selection of hooper is done so on the basis of his skill and ability. Unlike his last 4 years as a Wallaby where he was in the team because he trained well, had a big heart and motor and he was a favoured son of Chieka. One of the only wise decision of Jones was to exclude him from the RWC squad.

'Incredible' Hoops backed to do better than Boks legend who 'failed abysmally' in sevens switch

April fools surely. Leadership is about integrity and putting the team first ( to name just two essential elements). Warners career lacked both these. If true, very poor decision by Joe.

EXCLUSIVE: Schmidt to appoint David Warner as Wallabies leadership consultant

Poor skills lost it for the Reds. Nasser was good. The Reds need a good 10 and must stop believing Petaia and Vunivalu are saviours. Jock Campbell had a shocker.

'It was brutal': Clutch Lolesio kicks Brumbies to 'Test match intensity' win over Reds as Wright shines again

Yet to see anything special from this Max. Plenty of things have been said and written, but I’d like to see it on the field. For me the standard is Tim Horan when it comes to young talent. What an incredible 18 year old to make his debut and still to this day be rated the games best 12. of all time.

'Best place for me': Wallaby-in-waiting Jorgensen commits to Aussie rugby in boost ahead of Lions series

All Reds players were off their game tonight. From poor line out coordination to missed tackles, poor passing and dropped balls, the game was a nightmare. They were flat from the kickoff. Little communication in the field. The enthusiasm and speed of the first 4 games wasn’t present. The trip to WA can be energy zapping if not managed. I hope this performance only inspire for the Brumbies game. Vunivalu should sit out the next game. Not sure if Petaia is any better, but we need someone who knows how to play wing in union.

Reds' 'unbelievable, unfathomable' double disaster sums up shocker as Force spring stunning upset

Maybe the Reds should not have read the past weeks press giving great praise to the coach and individuals. They were very poor. The ex-leaguie on the wing was the worse. They were flat from the beginning. I hope they bounce back for next week.

Reds' 'unbelievable, unfathomable' double disaster sums up shocker as Force spring stunning upset

What bone-head comments made by JOC. Joe has plenty of time to select a squad. The Reds are no doubt the top Aussie side, but the wheels can fall off with a few injuries or other teams picking up. There is and should be NO certainty in positions at this early stage. JOC has not been missed on the field

'Talent can be fickle': Schmidt avoids rushing to conclusions as JOC calls for 'Reds-heavy' Wallabies

Those who have followed Australian rugby for decades know, “the Wallabies will only do well if the Queensland team does well”. If the Reds continue in the current success, we could be in for an exciting Wallaby resurgence. It wont happen overnight…but it will start. Kiss and Joe know each other well and I am sure there are the frequent chats on player strengths and weaknesses and game strategies across all franchises. That is, Kiss will be asked his thoughts on other teams and their players. I remember hearing Joe speak a couple of years ago. He said that he gets advice and assistance from those who care…even his wife. Les Kiss cares about the game, the team (squad) and his players.
