Missed the first half, was it Al-Hilal just playing too good or more of a poor start by WSW?

Was thinking before I could be happy with a 0-0 draw because then we needed a draw at worst away
This Result is Much Better MON WSW

I put a tenner on Southampton getting CL at the start of the season.
If you guys come through my life will be joyous 😉
EPLextra episode 12: Eight is great if you’re a Saint
The good: Dusan Tadic ripping Sunderland to Shreds with a goal and 4 assists, man of the week for me.
The bad: Evidently Sunderland, don’t quite think one can escape that absolute mauling
The ugly: The Referee in the City – Spurs match seemed to have an absolute shocking time.

None of Arsenal, Liverpool or United have a legitimate shot at the CL imo.
Man City don’t have the number 1 seed because their play in Europe has been extremely poor, Round of 16 only and a group exit the year before that.
Are they falling behind though? No.
Variety of Reasons – Barca are declining, no where near unbeatable. Guardiola has warped Bayern, and as a result their play is less than what it was 2 seasons ago.
Atletico haven’t properly replaced Costa imo and their standard has dipped a little compared to last year, Madrid is Madrid, always tough but not unbeatable.
Biggest threat is probably Roma and Juventus, if they can get their games clicking in Europe they’ll be fascinating to watch,
Are England's top clubs falling behind the rest of Europe?
Not the best result but a great game nontheless. 🙂

Good game so far, I like it.
Is Castelen eligible for CL or will he be missing out during the final 2 legs?

Would you happen to know how long until Spiranovic gets back?
And in saying that, looks a solid team. Mon Wanderers 🙂

Hey Adam,
Kroos was a large part of the team at the beginning of the season that cannot be denied, when Robben finally got his chance out right and Muller was shifted into the center he largely became a rotation option for the guys due to his versatility.
A high quality player, but in the best Bayern XI of that season he was normally a presence off the bench 🙂
Heynckes' Bayern exemplified how football should be played
If this had been the game to kick off the season on Friday, would have made a very bold statement about the quality of this league.
