Australia will be looking to make it two consecutive victories over Sri Lanka at the SCG in the second game of their five-match T20I series. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:10pm (AEDT).

Despite intermittent rain, Australia still had enough time to claim a 1-0 series lead on Friday night, winning by 20 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis system thanks to a fine bowling performance from World Cup heroes Josh Hazlewood (4-12) and Adam Zampa (3-18).

However, signs of rust were obvious, with the Aussies having not played a T20I since defeating New Zealand in the World Cup final three months ago. The batting order collapsed from 1-80 to 9-145, including single-figure scores from Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell and Matthew Wade, with a half-century from inclusion Ben McDermott a virtual lone hand.

A score of 149 proved to be enough against a Sri Lankan outfit which had to qualify for the World Cup, but ahead of a home title defence later this year, Australia will hope to get some key players, most notably Smith and Maxwell, humming again this series.
