Day three of the second Ashes Test sees Australia needing to take six more first-innings wickets without the services of Nathan Lyon, while England sit 138 runs behind the tourists’ total. Join The Roar for live scores from 8pm (AEST).

The series looked to have turned when Lyon clutched at a calf early in the final session on Day 2, and while a short-ball onslaught from Australia’s quicks saw them nab three top-order wickets in quick succession shortly after, their attack will now be handicapped for the rest of the series.

With the Lord’s pitch offering little and Harry Brook and Ben Stokes well set, England will first be out to eradicate what’s left of their first innings deficit, and then press on towards a sizeable lead.
