Six wickets fell for just 23 runs after Marsh fell on Day 1, so the hosts will know an early breakthrough will expose a vulnerable Australian tail to the pace of Mark Wood.

For the first time all series, rain is expected to impact proceedings, with extensive thunderstorms forecast over Headingley. With 24 wickets already lost, though, there is more than enough time for this Test to reach a conclusion.
