The Panthers are set to rest Nathan Cleary for Thursday night’s meeting with Souths, just a week after the superstar half’s return from a hamstring injury.

Penrith will not risk their captain on the back of a short turnaround, with Brad Schneider again taking his place. In another reshuffle, Daine Laurie drops off the bench with Jack Cole coming in.
