It’s time for another instalment of Super Rugby Pacific in the west and it is the Western Force taking on the Fijian Drua. Join The Roar for live scores and updates from 7.30pm (AEST).

The Force has made five changes to its starting XV for the game at HBF Park. Head coach Simon Cron has had some stern words with his side throughout the week about professional standards after their hiding by the Crusaders last week.

Forward stocks are bolstered with Wallabies Tom Robertson and Folau Fainga’a returning to the frontrow. Rahbni Vosayaco returns to number eight after taking time last week for the birth of his son. Captain Michael Wells shifts to numbers six and local product Carlo Tizzano rounds out the backrow at openside.

The backs remain unchanged with Max Burey getting another chance at flyhalf after a strong debut against one of the toughest oppositions last week.

With Santiago Medrano out, Siosifa Amone gets a spot on the bench and Tim Anstee returns to the match day 23, having recovered from injury. After a mediocre return to SRP Wallaby Isi Naisarani moves to the bench.

Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta returns for Fiji having missed the past two matches while captain Meli Derenalagi, Eroni Sau and Jone Koroiduadua are also back in the run-on side.

All three came off the bench in last week’s historic win against the Hurricanes. Caleb Muntz returns from an 8-week injury layoff as cover for the inside halves.

Prediction
The Drua are a force to be reckoned with when playing at home but have yet to emulate its scintillating form abroad. The Force are a wounded side with everything to play for if they wish to scrape into the top 8. Set piece time is the real test for both sides and will dictate momentum, the Force are helped by welcoming back their Wallabies complement. However, this game is in the hands of the Drua, if they play territory and put on the razzle dazzle in the Force’s half, they will have too much talent for the Western Force to contain.
