How to watch the Brisbane International: Full summer of tennis TV and streaming guide, start time, dates, players

The first ATP and WTA tournaments of the year are upon us, with some of the best players in the world set to descend upon the Brisbane International. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming all the action online and watching it on TV.

The tournament is set to get underway at 12pm (AEDT) on Sunday, December 31. It will run until the conclusion of both the men’s and women’s final on Sunday, January 7, which are expected to be played from 6pm (AEDT) on that day.

All matches for the tournament will be played at the Queensland Tennis Centre, with the centre court known as the Pat Rafter Arena.

Along with the United Cup in Perth and Sydney, the tournament kicks off the Australian summer of tennis, and is followed by the Adelaide International, which runs from January 8-13, and of course the Australian Open itself, which

The Brisbane International is often used by some of the biggest players in the game as the main warm-up tournament to the Australian Open, which gets underway in the third week of January.

This year’s tournament will see grand slam champions Rafael Nadal and Naomi Osaka make their long-awaited returns to tennis, along with Australians Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler, who are the reigning Australian Open champions in the men’s doubles.

How to watch the tournament on TV

As it has been since the 2019 summer of tennis, Channel Nine will be the official broadcaster for all Brisbane International matches, as well as for the Adelaide International, United Cup and Australian Open.

They will have one channel dedicated to the Brisbane International, showing all the big matches and Australians throughout the tournament.

This channel will for the most part be secondary channel 9GO (Channel 99) due to the presence of the United Cup on the main channel.

How to live stream the tournament online

You have two options for streaming the Brisbane International on your device of choice.

To catch all the major matches live or on demand at your time of choosing, you’ll need to subscribe to Stan Sport. The streaming service will have the entire summer of tennis across all tournaments available on demand, meaning you can watch live or catch up on the highlights afterwards.

Please note for the Brisbane International, Stan will only be showing a limited number of matches in the early rounds, but are expected to provide full coverage of all singles matches from the quarter-finals on.
