Queensland Country will be searching for their second win of the 2015 NRC season when they host the Perth Spirit, who are still winless. Join The Roar from 6pm (AEST) for live scores.

Country are coming off their first win, against the Greater Sydney Rams, following a disappointing start to the season.

Sam Greene scored a try, but it was his kicking game that really helped a struggling Country side get the win over an equally damaged Rams in a close match.

While they found the try-line on multiple occasions, Country’s defence really let them down, and they will need to tighten up their backline if they want to beat a desperate Perth.

The Spirit made it all the way to the grand final in 2014, however they have failed to win a game all season in 2015. They enter Week 5 of the tournament in pure desperation mode, and if they want to make the finals they can’t afford another loss.

Luke Burton’s kicking game let down the Spirit against the UC Vikings last week, kicking only one conversion from four attempts in a three-point loss.

The last time the Spirit and Queensland locked horns, Perth ran all over Country to come away with a dominant 29-point win.

Prediction
The Spirit are desperate for a win, and if they can take advantage of Queensland’s struggling backline, and not waste their kicks, they should come away with their first of the season.
