The last major race before the Melbourne Cup, the Victoria Derby, takes place on the Saturday before the big one, known as Derby Day.

This year that makes Saturday 4 November, with the race scheduled to be run at 3:50pm AEDT.

If you’re looking to live stream the race, or watch it on TV, or listen via the radio, you’ve come to the right place.

Below we have all the information you’ll need to tune in and follow the race no matter how you’re planning to do so.

Live stream

Since Channel Seven are providing coverage of the race, that means you’ll able to live stream their broadcast online via the 7live website.

Another option is to live stream the race via Racing.com however you will need to sign up with an account in order to access their service.

A number of betting sites including Bet365, Crownbet, Ladbrokes and Sportsbet also offer live streams of racing.

However, to access these live stream you’ll need to have an account with the website and you may also need to have funds deposited in your account.

TV

Channel Seven will cover the whole day of racing live on free-to-air TV, with their coverage beginning at 11am AEDT and concluding at 5:30pm AEDT.

On Foxtel, you can watch coverage of the Victoria Derby, as well as other races throughout the day from around the country, via Racing.com (channel 529) from 11:15am AEDT to 5:40pm AEDT, or you can watch the whole of Derby Day’s racing on Sky Racing 1 (channel 526). Their specific Victoria Derby coverage goes from 3:40pm AEDT to 4:25pm AEDT.

Radio

Both Sky Racing and Radio Sport National websites will have online radio coverage of the race.
