The rules for The Roar’s AFL, NRL and Super 14 Tipping competitions are below. You can contact us or leave a comment on this post if you have any questions.

Tipping Rules

Correct tip: 1 point
Match drawn (but not tipped): 0 points
Match drawn (and tipped): 1 point

Each round you must also select a Powerplay, where if you get the result correct, you’ll earn double the points for that match. That is, you get 2 points for a correct powerplay match rather than the usual 1.

Non-submission of tips: All Away teams are selected for you

You can change your tips up until the cut-off time for each round.

Tipping competitions
The Super 14 tipping competition runs over the normal season and includes the finals and grand-final.

The NRL tipping competition runs over the 26 rounds and includes the State of Origin matches and finals series. We may ask questions around the international matches during the course of the comp.

The AFL tipping competition runs over the 22 rounds and includes the finals and grand-final.
