'Worst experience I've had': Ange unloads in presser over Spurs' Man City loss
Ange Postecoglou admitted he had cold sweats leading into the game against Manchester City fearing a blowout would question his integrity
Manchester United manager David Moyes is still unsure when striker Wayne Rooney can make his return following a deep cut to his forehead.
Ahead of Saturday’s Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Moyes says Rooney is “in great physical shape,” but that he has to assess the risk of the cut splitting open again before selecting him for a game.
Rooney missed England’s two World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine after requiring stitches to his forehead after accidentally being kicked in the face during a training session for United.
Moyes says “obviously he’s got a cut right in the middle of his forehead which could split. The skin is very thin so he’s had the stitches out – it’s knitted well and we just have to see where the level of risk is with his injury.”
