Here is a look at all of the major transactions that took place on day three of NFL free agency.

Darren Sproles gets traded to the Eagles
Chip Kelly’s offense gets another high voltage weapon in the backfield. With all pro LeSean McCoy already toting the rock in Philly, Sproles is a complementary piece to help share the load in the fast-paced offense.

Nolan Carroll signs with Philadelphia
The talented corner back joins a revamped Eagles secondary and will make an immediate impact. The Eagles had a lot of trouble last season when facing three or more wide receivers, with the addition of Carroll they have the ability to match-up.

LaMarr Woodley signs with Oakland
The former Steeler finds his way to the black hole where he will be a centrepiece on their defence. With all of the players they have lost so far, Woodley is a great addition.

Justin Tuck signs with Oakland
Continuing to build on defence, the Raiders secure another quality pass rusher in Tuck. A lengthy hand in the dirt defensive end, Tuck gives the Raiders a veteran presence on the outside.

Steve Smith released by Carolina
The fiery wide receiver was cut from the team he has spent over a decade playing for and has vowed to make things messy when he plays against them.

Smith is headed to Baltimore for a meeting and they are the front-runners to sign the veteran.

Ted Ginn Jr signs with the Cardinals
The speedster finds himself in the desert as Arizona looks to bolster their receiving corps. A three-year, $9.75 million deal with $5.1 million guaranteed.

A special teams ace, the Cardinals will look to utilise him on kick and punt returns.
