Arsenal will be looking to be on the top of the English Premier League table with a win over Everton at home. Join The Roar from 3:30am (AEDT) for live scores.

After a devastating start to their 2015-16 Premier League campaign, Arsene Wenger’s Gunners have finally got their groove back.

Coming off a huge 2-0 win over German powerhouse Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League midweek, Arsenal will re-enter Emirates Stadium full on confidence.

Olivier Giroud found the net for the Gunners in the second half, before Mesut Özil nailed Bayern Munich’s coffin late in the game.

The Gunners are also coming off two big wins in their last two Premier League fixtures, with 3-0 wins over both Watford and Manchester United.

Alexis Sanchez, Özil and Giroud have re-gained their old form, and have been seemingly unstoppable in attack.

Gunners goalkeeper Petr Cech will be looking to keep a clean sheet, and is two games away from topping David James’ Premier League record of 169 games.

After a big 3-0 loss to Manchester United in their last fixture, Everton will be desperate to get their Premier League season back on track.

The Toffees last won a game last month, when they scrapped past West Bromwich Albion 3-2 in a highly entertaining affair.

Everton will also be looking to re-write the record books against the Gunners, having only managed to topple the Gunners once in their last 16 Premier League fixtures.

However, Everton may have to rely on super-subs against Arsenal, the Toffees have scored five goals this season via a substitute, more than any other Premier League side.

The last time these two sides locked horns was three months ago in August. Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Özil all found the net in the Gunner’s 3-1 win over Everton, where Arsenal claimed the Premier League Asia Trophy.

Should the Gunners continue playing the style of football they have been as of late, they should cruise to victory against Everton for the second time in three months.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Everton
