Teenage prodigy Ben Simmons is taking College Basketball by storm and his next appearance for Louisiana State University (LSU) will be against South Alabama, at 1:00pm AEDT on Friday, November 20.

Simmons has dominated in his first two games this season and many are tipping him to be the number one selection at the next NBA draft.

In his most recent match Simmons finished with an excellent stat line of 11 points, 13 rebounds and five assists as LSU defeated McNeese state 81-70.

The majority of Simmons’ games during the 2015-16 season will be broadcast on Foxtel via ESPN or ESPN 2, however some of them – including this one – will not.

However there is still a way to watch the match, via ESPN’s online live streaming service, ESPN3.

ESPN3 offers a live-streaming service of a variety of sporting events including some of the College Basketball games that don’t fit onto ESPN or ESPN 2.

The ‘College Basketball’ event listed for 1:00pm AEDT on Friday, November 20, will show Simmons in his game against South Alabama.

The only way to access this service in Australia is if you are a residential Foxtel customer, in which case you can access the service for free, streaming via your internet connection.

All you need to do is got the ESPN 3 website and sign in using your Foxtel ID.

You will also need to download the Move Media Player plug-in – which you will be automatically prompted to do.

You’ll then be able to watch live events or replays via the website on your computer, or on Apple and Android mobile devices.

If you are a new Foxtel customer, it may take 24-48 hours before you are able to access the ESPN3 service.

As always with live streaming, you’ll want to keep in mind the potential data charges, especially if watching via a mobile network.
