Nobody expected it to end like this.

The Milwaukee Bucks have defeated the Golden State Warriors 108-95 in easily the biggest upset of the season.

The reigning NBA Champions hadn’t lost a game all season but their historic run came to end at the hands of Milwaukee, who are placed 13th in the Eastern conference.

Greg Monroe led the way with 28 points for the Bucks, while Giannis Antetokounmpo put up his first ever triple-double.

Golden State struggled with their shooting as the home side disrupted their normally fluid offense and stormed home in the back end of the fourth quarter to end the Warriors’ streak.

Interestingly, it was the Bucks who also ended the Lakers 33-game winning streak during the 1971-72 season – the longest in the league’s history.
