Stade Francais’s Fijian winger Josaia Raisuqe has been found guilty of eye-gouging in last weekend’s European Champions Cup match against Munster.

Raisuqe was given a straight red card by referee Nigel Owens at the start of the second half after replays showed him putting his finger into CJ Stander’s eye.

Raisuqe’s suspension means he’s ineligible to play rugby for the club in the competition again this season unless the Paris side makes the Cup final.

Despite playing with 14-players for the rest of the half, Stade Francais still ran out comfortable winners 27-7.
